Welcome aboard Caroby
Hopefully I've managed to update you all successfullyThere is definitely something about October which seems to make us want to eat more, I'm hoping that now it's November my body and brain will remind me it's two months to the end of the year so time to get my act together
Have a good weekI had better join my 10.00 call

Good Morning xx
Welcome caroby, good luck x
2lb loss for me please Brambling, thank you and sorry posting after you'd just updated xx
It does seem strange we're weeks away from Christmas, I don't think my brain has caught up with the weeks going by so quickly. I do want comfort food though, it's cold and horrible today. When I've too much milk I'll have a go at a skimmed milk rice pudding x
B- avocado and tomato on toast
L- I need to use up eggs so poached eggs maybe
D- I've made a leek and Quorn potato topped pie so will have that with veg4 -
Hope this week is less exhausting, it was half term last week and everyone I work with seemed to be on holiday. Managed to get out for a walk 6 out of 7 days which was pretty good considering the amount of rain. My local T*sco superstore opens at 6am so I was in there by 6.30 doing my monthly shop (missed the announcement on Saturday about Lockdown). No plans to go near the shops again apart from salad top ups. Let's hope lockdown doesn't get extended. Stay safe and have a good week.3

I've had a busy week catching up with things
I've abandoned porridge at breakfast and gone back to just coffee.
Lunch has been something simple or leftovers, Cup a soup has been favourite especially Tomato and Basil low cal by S/burys. Other days have been low cal jelly, fruit, sandwich. I've tried to cut down on the amount I've eaten at lunchtime and find that a cup-a-soup helps to fill me up.
Dinner has been some form of meat and lots of vegetables - no potatoes, rice or pasta. (one day I did digress and had scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon)
My main failure is pudding - I just love old fashioned puddings and so does my DH, I've tried cutting down on the amount I eat but there always seems to be leftovers in the dish... guess where they end up? I'll try harder this coming week, maybe a bit of cheese and a few walnuts would help curb the sugar addiction.Anyway weight loss this week is 3lb, making a total of 5lb so far - plenty more to go!!

That's a great loss Zafiro
although if I had no breakfast and only a cuppa soup for lunch I would start to look with evil intent at the cat
No problem Zippy whenever i catch up someone postsI'm considering following your menu plan as you're doing so well

Good evening all
congratulations on losses and STSs, commiserations on gains.
Weighed in yesterday with another STS. A teaspoonful of honey had started to creep into my morning porridge, so I’ve taken to adding a shake of salt instead (I know salt is bad, but I never add it in cooking, nor at the table so I reckon I might get away with it on porridge).
I had my last slice of cake today (carrot & orange - 2 of my 5-a-day) when having tea out with a friend before we lockdown again. Quite pleased actually, since unless I bake it myself there’ll be no more cake opportunities for a month.

Hi and thanks for the welcome 🙂
Will weigh on Fridays, I think, if bad news maybe it'll stop me overeating at the weekend (huh, yeah right!)
Spent years calorie counting, I'm still writing down what I have most days, it's become a bad? habit, supposed to keep me on the straight and narrow. But really it just makes me feel guilty coz I keep going over.
Anyway, good luck to all this week!
