Hi I how have my new official starting point for this quarter, and it's basically STS, over about 3 weeks, so not bad as it means I can pretty much maintain my weight, but need to try a bit harder to keep loosing it. Happy weekend in a bit.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Brambling -1lb loss please.
@monnagran I had the same problem with my electronic scales this morning, a 10lb weight gain. Realised that I had moved them to vacuum the floor and put them back in a slightly different place, moved them back to the original spot, left it for 15 mins and then re-weighed myself again (twice to make sure). It can make a real difference as they are much more 'sensitive' to a change of position particularly if you have an older property with uneven floors. Probably wouldn't have happened if they were mechanical (is that the right word) old style scales.8 -
I llve hour story Zippy, that must have been very rewarding!
a 3lb loss for me this week please.
sounds good, but its been ten days really.
im happy because im now on the right side of that something and a half I was and now probably weigh the same , not more , than my husband.
I m also trying to redress that balance by feeding him up!Norn Iron Club member 4736 -
HiI need to join the challenge again please Brambling. Could you put me down for 11 lbs for the quarter, thank you.I’m starting this quarter 6lbs heavier than my last weighin which I think was about 2 weeks ago. ☹️Not actually too bad considering I’ve mostly consumed carbs and sugar in that time.I’ve given myself till Monday to decide on a definite plan of action as it’s clear I do better with a plan. I’m currently deciding between going back to plant based or moderately low carb Again although that’s not as mse as plant based can be.
take care all.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Thank you all for your suggestions and support. I will get a new battery next week when I go for my fortnightly shop. What I'm really terrified of, is finding out that it is the 8lb gain that is right and that the weight that I have so proudly lost over the last few weeks is the wrong number.
All will be revealed in the fullness of time. Though with my weight history, it is also quite possible to put on 8lb in one meal and take 3 months to get it off again.
Love you all.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Managed to get a lunchtime haircut today, quite a drastic one. Shoulder length tangled curly hair (breaking off and in really bad condition after 6 months of mainly bad diet and no cuts) has been transformed into short hair - Dame Judi Dench type style). Feel quite light headed. Don't think it would have made a noticeable difference to the weigh in though!.
Only took 30 mins as just a wet cut and got back in time for a quick lunch. Did my walk in early this morning, have also decided that I really must concentrate on eating well and take more care of myself from now on. Feeling so much better just by eating healthy food, hopefully my hair will also benefit from the change in eating habits and definitely doing some home hair treatments.

Minus 2lb for me please. Annoyingly it was a better loss yesterday and then I weighed more again today!
Breakfast: Mini milky coffee
Lunch: Scrambled egg on one slice of toast, apple
Dinner: Steak, a few homemade chips made in the air fryer, peas and onions. Greek yoghurt with lemon curd.
Snacks : 3 espresso sized coffees, 2 squares of dark chocolate.
Exercise: 1 hour yoga, walk to yoga and back, 40 minute walk.

Good Morning x
Your hair sounds lovely Marion and much easier to manage. My Mum gets mistaken for Judi Dench and been asked for her autograph a few times lol.
I'm going through clothes today, I've been picking stuff up in the sales and do need some thing's, but its a bit ridiculous having too much when I'm losing weight and in lockdown so don't see anyone and can't go anywhere anyway
Yesterday
Brunch- poached eggs on toast
Dinner- soup, roll, egg custard
Snack- yoghurt fruit flakes
Hope everyone has a great weekend x
