Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 4

Thanks *zippy*. Had a wonderful moment this morning, was out on my daily walk and bumped into a friend and his partner. I have known him since we were both 5 years old, haven't seen him for a while although we have kept in touch. He just stood there and went "wow".. Absolutely priceless and worth the combination of weight loss and new haircut.
Digging out all my winter clothes and thick duvet, Weather is beautiful, I love this time of year (apart from storms) cold and sunny with the leaves starting to turn. Going for a long trek in the nearest forest with them tomorrow and hopefully a pub lunch, just need to finalise arrangements. Just had a lovely stew for lunch and planning a lazy afternoon.
Can't believe how good I have been with eating, no treats for a while. Have what I would call a "shop bought emergency pizza" in the freezer. I know it's there if I get desperate, the last one sat in the freezer for about 18 months!. Rarely eat them now as I'm a bit sensitive to wheat and don't like gluten free products.6 -
Hi everybody almost feel I'm back on trak now - did a nice run this lunch, saw a kingfisher, and had a lovely sausage, egg and toast brunch afterwards. I sneakily mixed in a few mushrooms and gave my son most of the sausage and me mall of the mushrooms and a bit of sausage, the taste without the guilt! Not counting calories though!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Ooh Artytarty, it must be something going round. I've changed the batteries in mine and tried them in various places in the house. It's not the scales!
I am going to have to work very hard to lose that 8 lb before I can even start on the 5 lb I wanted to lose this quarter.
Anyway, I've made a good start by losing 3lb this week.
Bless it. My tablet thinks I've lost my elbow. No, it's definitely 3lb.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Good morning, everyone.
monna isn’t it just the pits when some gang of lbs that were floating about come and perch on your shoulder?! It’s good you’ve managed to brush some of them off, I hope the rest go as quickly.

Congratulations to Everyone who’s lost 👏👏👏
Keep the faith, keep up the good work even if you haven’t lost weight this week.

Another cold but sunny day, just got back from a walk in the New Forest (Hampshire). Really lucky as it's only a few miles away from here. If you ever go there I would recommend the "Tall Trees Walk" which is amazing particularly in the Autumn when the leaves are turning.
Managed an early socially distanced Pub lunch by sitting outside at a table with benches both sides. None of us were quite sure about the rules on this one as strictly speaking we don't seem to fit in to any of the current rules. Anyway, we did our best as none of us have any symptoms and we wore face masks apart from when we were eating!. So full I can hardly move, I have a healthy appetite but the plates were huge and really generous helpings. Think that's the biggest roast dinner I've ever had!. Couldn't manage a pudding even if I'd wanted one.
Take care and stay safe everyone, let's see what tomorrow brings in the latest briefing from No 10.4 -
Hi It's a sunny say jubii and I did almost a mile in the pool happy days.

Well done all all losses 👏 Monna should I add your
I know the New Forest very well Marion one of my sisters lives down there 🙂 a beautiful part of the world.
Yesterday i I had a hair appointment and then worked from 4.30pm until 9.30pm it was suppose to be a couple of hours but things went wrong and we couldn't get hold of IT who were meant to be on standby, I wasn't happy 🤬 but did stay clear of any 'naughties' other than a large G&T at the end 🙂
pottering day today, I've made a tomato and vegetable soup for some lunches next week as well as a spinach and feta crustless quiche. Dinner was a roast chicken dinner, no potatoes but I did have roast parsnips and pattypan instead
Have a good week all

Evening Everyone
I've had a fairly good day. It was lovely weather this morning at tennis with sunshine and blue skies, although the chilly wind meant we cooled down quickly afterwards as we sat outside having a chat.
Breakfast: Mini milky coffee
Lunch: Prawn omelette, Greek yoghurt with lemon curd
Dinner: Chicken and mushrooms in a creamy paprika sauce, peas, green beans, one tiny roast potato. Apple
Snacks: 3 more tiny coffees, 2 squares dark chocolate. Solero
Exercise: 90 minutes of tennis.
Mini Victory : made jam tarts and apple pie for the family and didn't succumb to any of it
