Another cold but sunny day, just got back from a walk in the New Forest (Hampshire).  Really lucky as it's only a few miles away from here.  If you ever go there I would recommend the "Tall Trees Walk" which is amazing particularly in the Autumn when the leaves are turning.

Managed an early socially distanced Pub lunch by sitting outside at a table with benches both sides.   None of us were quite sure about the rules on this one as strictly speaking we don't seem to fit in to any of the current rules.  Anyway, we did our best as none  of us  have any symptoms and we wore face masks apart from when we were eating!.  So full I can hardly move, I have a healthy appetite but the plates were huge and really generous helpings.  Think that's the biggest roast dinner I've ever had!.  Couldn't manage a pudding even if I'd wanted one.

Take care and stay safe everyone, let's see what tomorrow brings in the latest briefing from No 10.

Well done all all losses 👏 Monna should I add your  o:)o:)o:)

I know the New Forest very well Marion one of my sisters lives down there 🙂 a beautiful part of the world.

Yesterday i I had a hair appointment and then worked from 4.30pm until 9.30pm it was suppose to be a couple of hours but things went wrong and we couldn't get hold of IT who were meant to be on standby, I wasn't happy 🤬 but did stay clear of any 'naughties' other than a large G&T at the end 🙂

pottering day today, I've made a tomato and vegetable soup for some lunches next week as well as a spinach and feta crustless quiche.  Dinner was a roast chicken dinner, no potatoes but I did have roast parsnips and pattypan instead

    Have a good week all

  • Evening Everyone
I've had a fairly good day. It was lovely weather this morning at tennis with sunshine and blue skies, although the chilly wind meant we cooled down quickly afterwards as we sat outside having a chat.
    Breakfast: Mini milky coffee
Lunch: Prawn omelette, Greek yoghurt with lemon curd
Dinner: Chicken and mushrooms in a creamy paprika sauce, peas, green beans, one tiny roast potato. Apple
Snacks: 3 more tiny coffees, 2 squares dark chocolate. Solero
    Exercise: 90 minutes of tennis.
Mini Victory : made jam tarts and apple pie for the family and didn't succumb to any of it
