3.5lb loss for me please Brambling xx5 -
Making myself have a break from work, I tend to lose track of time and suddenly realise I haven't had a drink/food/stretch or whatever.
Busy start to the day, really lovely weather so drove to the supermarket for a quick shop at 7am and got some veg and salad. More staff than customers at that time of the morning!. Fitted in my morning walk and then took a deep breath and logged in to my work e mail. Let's just say there was a lot to catch up with after 2 weeks off.
Really starting to notice the drop in temperature, I'm wrapped up in layers. I have kept a size 24 cardigan from when I was at my heaviest, it's much too big now but it reminds me how far I've come and I can put loads of clothes on underneath!.

Hi all.
I'm going to join in again. I managed 9 of my target 15lbs last time. I was a bit disappointed but at least I lost 9. I'm back in my black autumn work trousers ( not too thick) so that's something I've achieved.
Brambling, please can you put me down for 10 lbs. I will do better this time, I'm sure.
Good luck, everyone. We can do this!

Evening Everyone
I've had another quite good day - very similar to yesterday when I think about it!
Breakfast: Mini milky coffee (espresso cup sized)
Lunch : 2 poached eggs on one slice of toast, small banana
Dinner: Chicken thigh with peas. Maybe have some yoghurt with lemon and a bit of low carb sweetener later.
Snacks: 2 more mini coffees, square of dark chocolate
Exercise: 90 minutes of tennis, short walk to work to discuss issues with son, 40 minute brisk walk after our evening meal.
Mini victory : Resisting the home made cookies on offer after tennis
I've been trying to keep busy so started making Christmas cards today. They're an applique Christmas tree on a Christmassy background, decorated with silver gems. I made 17 which will probably be enough so now need to think of another project.

That's a great loss Zippy
This week has gone so fast and it's difficult to believe that tomorrow is the first week finished and a WI for meI'm facing the cinema for the first time tonight to watch a screening of Matthew Bournes Ballet 'Red Shoes' which was originally booked for May, I'm going with a older friend, we will need to be masked in the cinema so will be interesting to see how 90 mins of mask wearing goes especially as i wear glasses. No Intervals for this one which is probably just as well. It will be good to get out although I'm still in two minds about it.
B - Apple & banana
L - fish finger sandwich
D - HM chicken soup

Am still scared to weigh in, as have eaten well for the last few weeks. But will do it eventually. But am incredibly tired and exhausted these past weeks, so am also pausing all exercise at the moment. Need a full restart. The darkness and the rain ...Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Morning All,
ditty I can sympathise, I know that I need to get on the scales and see how bad the damage is but I just can't face it. As much as I hope that it'll shock me into doing something about it I fear that it might go the other way and make me give up completely.
Brambling enjoy Red Shoes. I saw it at Sadlers Wells a couple of years back and it was amazing, I think Edward Scissorhands is still my favourite though. I hope the mask-wearing doesn't get too much. I went to the cinema last month and you had to wear a mask if you were moving about but didn't need to keep it on while you were sitting down, I guess that's changed again now?
Well, it seems like I've started this challenge about as well as I ended the last one. I promise to try to make more of an effort to check in here, even if I want to run (waddle) away and hide.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx4 -
Evening All
The scales appear to be moving - in the right direction - but very slowly. What day is the day to record our loss? I didn't get to post yesterday as got drenched at tennis so came home for a hot bath and then spent the evening with a book and didn't bother getting dressed again. I still stuck with the resisting eating too much.
Brunch ( I eat lunch early on Wednesdays so I don't feel full for my tennis which is in the afternoon.) - Bacon, egg and grilled tomato, banana
Dinner: Pork shoulder steak, half a very small jacket potato with butter, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli. Greek yoghurt with homemade lemon curd stirred in it.
Snacks: 3 espresso sized milky coffees and 1 square of dark chocolate.
Exercise: Walk to work (7 minutes each way so not far) to collect something, 90 minutes tennis
