    Hey All

Today seems a better day health wise

Had my 1st 2hr clean yesterday from agency (free :D ) So house is quite clean(cleaner I would say about 6/10-not very thorough, but will give her 2 more weeks to see if she improves ;) Up since 6am, managed to get 3 loads on already(hubby just hanging 2 out now). Have scrubbed downstairs loo, sorted through post, put paper in paper bin, had bacon butty & coffee & read the paper.

    Plans today are:

Get stuff wrapped for ebay that has been sold-ready for monday
Sort through daughters wardrobe & see what doesnt fit anymore
    Sort through my clothes too
All clothes sorted as above-take pics and list on ebay (hate this bit!)

Im hoping I will get through this!

Take Care & have a great weekend!

Have done the weekly shop at Tesco- a little over budget but then did find 2 new school sweatshirts for my son at £3 each and the roast in the bag chicken on offer for £2.99 which will do us for 2 meals. Am now at work swelling the coffers [just popping in and out between students] this morning. This afternoon I'm having a break- us plus son's friend are sitting down to watch Willy Wonka which has been lent to me by a friend whilst munching the popcorn I bought this morning. Tomorrow we are off to a free folk festival in one of the local villages

    Hi everyone

My day started off well, I used a money off coupon in Asda that I didn't buy the product for. (my first time!)

Going to make a quiche and some parkin for tea, check on my garden veggies for slugs and other assorted baddies and start some more lettuce seeds off.

Later I'll probably root out my knitting patterns and start on a summer top or cardi while I listen to the radio.

hope you all have a good day

    :hello:

We've been to the farmers' market today. Got some ostrich burgers, a few bits for lunch (not v moneysaving, I know as we've got plenty in the fridge!) and some eggs and went to Wilkos. Life is exciting, isn't it? :D

We're off to OH's parents in a few mins as it was his 30th birthday during the week, so we're being treated to a meal out tonight along with his twin sister. At least we don't have to cook and wash up.

Tesco weekly shop will be tomorrow, but we don't actually need that much - milk, bread and stuff for sandwiches.

Well instead of recycling the bedding MIL gave me I used 2 old/getting smelly pillows that I remembered where shoved under the bed. So while DD and I sat in our yard/garden watching the sparrows playing in the trees/on the roof next door, I stitched the 2 pillows together and then put a brown pillowcase over it. I now have a very comfortable kneeler :D

I dug over the veg beds removing the rose leaves that had fallen (I've got black spot and red spider mite on my climbing rose  ) and taking out the failed lettuce. I then planted out the remining lettuce (we now have 60 in total) and sorted out the tomato plants (50 in total).

I made Sausage and Bacon casoulet for tea and served it with homemade bread. Then after sending DD to bed I spent the evening watching Gardeners World and Big Brother :D

    hello all,
Up at 8 today and got the bread on and the laundry in.
Went into town with my daughter to find some weed suppressing sheeting as we are finally clearing our wilderness. Will be down the wilderness clearing for the rest of today.
We've been at it for 2 weeks so far and have about a 10ft X 25 ft area dug over so far(less than half of it).Potatoes planted in half of it (dont know if they'll grow but they were sprouting so thought I'd give it a go).Im determined that we will have veg in there from next year onwards as its been wildeness for over 10 years.

    Hello everyone and happy Saturday.

I popped into town this morning, but ONLY to pay a cheque into the building society. While there a nice young lady gave me a free bag of Potatohead crisps, and a voucher to get 30p off some more.

This afternoon I'm going to have a crack at doing my tax return online. I think I'm due a refund, and understand you receive it much quicker if you file on line. Well, we'll see how that goes...

If there's any time left, I might try to find some bits to put on Ebay, then it'll be time to give the veg patch a good water. Lettuces, sweetcorn, spuds and tomatoes are all looking good.

    Hello everyone!

I did a meal planner for the next week last night, my first one ever, and im feeling quite proud of myself! Im off to the supermarket now to stock up, and then I have to get ready to go away for the night, my boyf has decided we have to go to London for the night, so we have dinner reservations with a few freinds and then im meeting up with some old Uni friends tomorrow morning for coffee, which I am looking forward to!

I have just re-potted my little lemon tree seedlings which were getting a bit unruly, :D and have given one to my sister with strict instructions on how to keep it alive! She has never really been interested in gardening etc, but for some reason, she was really impressed and has called me from a garden centre to ask which plant food I recommend - truly an amazing and strange moment, and asked if she can come stay for a weekend next month so I can teach her to cook - and get this - even Knit!! :rotfl: She is going to buy some pink wool so she can create herself a scarf for this winter! I never ever imagined I would see the day...... I think her OH chatting about having children has inspired her or something...

Anyway, I start work full time on Monday following my final exams at Uni last week, and I have to say, Im a little nervous, although im sure everything will be fine, it was the job I wanted and the pay is good. :D Also, gotta start looking for a new flat, our tenancy is up at the end of July, so its time for a late spring clean to get rid of the junk, so the boyf can pack without getting too  over the whole thing.

Ive just realised how much stuff I have to do over the next few weeks  better get on with it!
