Saturday- NSD 6/15, these are gathering up nicely but as we are now in school holidays and we move next weekend I suspect there are a lot of spend days heading in my direction 🙈.
Today has been spent playing with ponies and packing. Just as well we did it in that order as the weather has been terrible this afternoon. More bits for the bin sorted out, several boxes filled and I'm starting to see some sort of order in my kitchen again. Although I feel like I should confess my "tupperware" addiction- normally many of the boxes are in the freezer full of batch cooked meals but as I am emptying the freezer the full range and number has become very obvious- oh well, they will be full of food and back in the freezer before long.
Gratitudes- well behaved ponies, DD having fun with her friend, clear plastic boxes with lids!8 -

Ooh, f0xh0les, if they brought in a '5 miles and no more' rule, then I couldn't go to work...!Today I am grateful for lidle having decaf coffee in stock, for dd sleeping well, for a crafterzoom with big sis and some friends, for making myself another mask using licorice allsorts fabric, for a good workout.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4 -
When they put Le City into lock down and not Le County, then you were allowed to cross the invisible line for work/school/essential shopping/ walking your chinchilla etc and we all had to print out our own letters from work to carry in the car. I really think that the Govt thinks everyone in the North (above Luton) lives next door t' factory or t' mill. The amount of people who live in Manchester and work in Sheffield and vice versa, or live in West Mids and work in East Mids is huge. They must have learnt about Eyam plague village at school and think it is all still like that.NSD 7 today, just got a free £5 Amaz0n voucher, so added that to my account.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

It's serendipity apple. Some months I have my quotes all lined up and at other times something just pops out at me. Was looking for something yesterday but wasn't feeling great and the super fish oil made me laugh. Today my mind is racing, the sunshine (been told it's very cold) makes me want to get on with things and my body is just "Meh, maybe, sometime, later".
Oscillating between sloth, Ascended Master, inner child trauma and magical !!!!!!.

All getting a bit silly, isn’t it? Carrying letters so you can get to work! Last time they had a five mile for leisure advice in Scotland. Didn’t really work. This time, as I understand it, the advice is stay as local as you can, don’t use public transport if you can avoid it and basically use your common sense. Mind you, now that they’ve closed the pubs, restaurants, etc there aren’t many reasons to go out to. That’s not quite true but you know what I mean.
So we didn’t have a NSD yesterday. Needed bread and milk. Started a new book. I’m becoming an expert on John LeCarre. Had a long phone conversation with the Boy and a marathon text conversation with his friend. How do you cook chicken, he asked. Obviously hasn’t even opened the cookery book I gave him.
Himself is still in bed and I’m sitting here with a pot of coffee watching for any little birds. Very windy today so don’t know what we’ll do.
Have a nice Sunday.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -

Take time to pause, to linger, to quiet the noise and remember that your worth is not measured by your productivity.Well thank all the Gods for that or I would be practically worthless!I am sat on the sofa with Henna piled on my head, so I look and smell like I have been assaulted by a horse with a stomach complaint. Just going to go with 45 minutes and then rinse and wait for 48 hours to see what develops. I am inspired by the autumn leaves. It will have sat in my bathroom cupboard for 2 years next month, so it is time for it to go. So technically I am tidying, not sitting here typing in orange stained plastic gloves. I will look Amazing - I see our 70+ volunteers tomorrow, so look forward to henna related 1960s/70's tales. I learn all sorts of social history through them. They are fab.

No NSD yesterday as had to buy some vitamins, but these were a planned spend. Was called into work in the end but was pointless as it turned out... Still, will get paid so not that pointless I suppose. OH bought us pizza last night which was yummy.
Went horse riding this morning, the weather was lush but there were so many people out so couldn't really enjoy myself as much as normal as spent all my time dodging dogs, footballs and small children. He's a good boy though, nothing phases him, and I'm very grateful for that a otherwise we'd have been in a bit of a pickle! Met a friend for a quick walk and catch up afterwards and have just been stewing on the sofa ever since!
Happy rest of the weekend turtles 🐢4 -
Sunday- NSD 7/15.
The packing continues but is very much hindered by DD being "bored" and wanting to play- school holidays now and I'm working so she has a couple of days at my parents and I have a couple of evenings to try and get sorted out!
It's starting to look like we might be ready to move at the weekend- only 5 sleeps til I get the keys 😱.
Freezer contents continue to shrink- won't quite be empty in time to move, but it won't be far away.

Cor, the move isn't far away, is it! Hope your preps go well.Today I am grateful for friends feeding us a yummy roast dinner, for a morning run, for dd getting ahead with her hwk, for the heating sydtem working so quietly and well, for watching the tennis.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3
