Ditty - The chances are it’s not virus related but better safe than sorry. If you’ve booked a test stay off just in case and wait for the result. That’s the advice. You sound very stressed. Goodness, I can relate to that and I’m on holiday. I always feel that everyone else is doing better than me so you’re not alone. We’re always here if you need a bit of support. It will get better. Lots of hugs xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10

Thanks toni's friend yes I just got tested and earliest I will be back at work is Wednesday or when ever I get the test result, I work 3 different jobs and my ds does a lot of sport, so I will rather be tested than be a super spreader! And luckily there is a walk in in town. SO easily done.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

F0xh0les - yes, I'm aware how lucky we are to still be able to visit people. Not that we do it often - this was the first time since term started.Today I am grateful for getting cheap fuel, for keeping my head down at work and just getting on with things, for opportunities to be kind to people, for one of the pupils saying how much they liked my licorice-allsort-fabric mask, for getting home at a decent time.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Good evening
Busy but pleasant day at work, and feel like I am growing into my role after 5 months. Where has the time gone?
Today = NSD number 7
Really keeping things on track this month. Normally I have my mid month crash and vanish off the face of the Earth. This month, I have all my week 2's cash unspent pretty much in my wallet, and a full weeks 3 & 4 stash in the bank. Am really pleased with that - and I think a big part of that has been checking in here and being accountable. Thank you everyone.
Thanks Toni's Friend. I don't know - kids today are mercenary! I was thinking back to my youth and think I just got cards from my Uncles and Aunties, or else some dreadfully tasteless trinket that was probably recycled haha. Even then it was still seen as a fun gift and a nice gesture. Nowadays a lot of kids have so much. My brother stopped giving because they never even acknowledged gifts. I had to write thank you cards when I was younger, or I'd at least ring to thank them even if it was just a card. Am I getting old haha. Next I'll be tutting under my breath and saying, 'kids of today - don't know they're born!'... probably just like our parents used to say about us... and their parents about them lol. In the end I have decided I will do my budget - pay down my debts, and give what I can realistically what I can afford, The End.
Have a great evening folks⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Monday- still on NSD 7/15 as I had to top up on fresh veg for the bunnies. Got milk as well so tomorrow should be a NSD. Got a couple of boxes packed tonight- I now have mostly empty kitchen cupboards!
In terms of present buying- I have no idea now of "amounts" of money I was given for "special" birthdays- but I still treasure gifts like my charm bracelet and charms, good watch etc, so maybe consider something like that rather than cash?7 -
Abundant - my DS1 is 18 this week - he has no idea what he wants, what he would usually spend his money on has been cancelled for months. There is nowhere to go and not much to do. Ask the parents, no actually, even better, ring her and ask her - she may need driving lessons or be saving for a car, or a holiday, or a course, or really fancy having Premium Bonds or a L-ISA (kids are weird). Or she might find it really odd that someone is giving her money when she does not give on your birthday - she might suggest a no presents pact!DS2 was 16 last month, and the grandparents gave him £40, his Great Aunt gave him £15, and his Aunt gave him a £20 Amazon gift card so don't think that everyone gives huge sums for 16th / 18th They don't. It is a myth perpetuated by Hallmark - what some people do, is hand over the money they have been saving for their kids since birth and hope they don't blow it all by Xmas.
Although a framed photo of her favourite uncle would be just what she wanted.

I now hope that the rest of October is NSD! I have paid for my citizenship fee auch. I have also decided to appropriate a method of dealing with unpleasant 'frogs' so I will make 3 envelopes a 10 min one a 30 min one and a one hour one, and then I will write all my frog chores on a little note and then I can pick - depending on how long I have!
I am trying to look at time management! And I am terrible at it, how long will it take to set up this project! I have just had it with little pieces of paper with lists on them! I need a new day, a fresh pile and a happy face :-)

Needed some bread and milk and bought some yummy butchers pasties for dinner.
Today was a really nice day. Met a friend and had a few conversations with villagers and some random visitors. All socially distanced, I think we’re missing human contact, Just a brief chat with someone. What has come out of it is I’m not the only confused person on the planet
So tomorrow’s plan is up early, a walk and a socially distanced drink and a nice dinner.Looking forward to it.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
