Yesterday was NSD no 5. I’m amazed. I was expecting to have ant at all.
I love it here. I’ve been sitting at the kitchen window this morning watching a spider weave it’s web outside. It’s fascinating. At dusk last night we watched hundreds (really hundreds) of ducks flying in their formations overhead. What a noise they make. I guess I’m a simple soul at heart. I don’t think it would bother me if I never saw a shop again. Cake and chocolate shops excluded, of course.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -

Hello everyone
I have had a super lazy day so far today. No classes. Tried to be productive but think the week caught up with me and ended up having a 2 hr nap on the sofa while bf slaved away at the computer.
Still on NSD 2. We did very well on eating the batch cooked stuff during the work week but haven’t really planned for the weekend so I needed to buy stuff today to stop us getting takeaway. We are just about in budget.
Ran for 33 mins today stopping only once. Impressed myself! 25min cycle yesterday. Tomorrow will be yoga.
Meditated yesterday but forgot today. Would do it now but I’d probably fall asleep again.
Grateful for solid internet connection, for a long weekend (monday is bank hol here) and videos of my dad and step mum’s crazy new kittens

Afternoon all, haven't posted for a few days as work has been absolutely manic this week. However I've had today off as toil which has been great. Went horse riding this morning while the sun was out, it was absolutely beautiful. Love listening to the robins at the yard singing to one another.
Because work's been so busy I've not spent a penny which is great! Today I did go to the chiropractor but count that as a medical expense.
Working on call tomorrow, hoping I dont get called in but you never know. The zero hour job I got back in August still hasn't started as one referee isn't responding. I don't understand why as I asked beforehand if I could use him as a referee and he said it was absolutely fine. They probably think I'm dodgy now! This is the only thing holding up a start date so it's really frustrating as I want to get cracking and earning some extra money. Hey ho.
Grateful for a day off, beautiful weather for my ride earlier, and my cozy blanket.7 -
Today was NSD5 (yay!), managed to get the top two floors cleaned, tidied and hoovered, and the bathrooms cleaned and mopped in the 2 hour time frame I had. Really not sure how this teaching from the house is going to work out. It is chafing already, having to stop doing what I am doing, and sitting quietly with a cuppa until I get the shout of 'All Clear!', and being asked all the time, 'when will you be out because I need to record something'. I am starting to feel unwelcome!! or just really noisy.Big
to all the Turtles, those who are struggling, those who are heartbroken, those who are alone, and those who are on their hols.
We have one week left until half term and I am going to start planning things. Even if it is just dragging the 2 smallest to a different park every day. Exploring the local area. But first, I appear to have the most enormous laundry mountain to scale (sigh!). Happy Weekend Folks!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Today I am grateful for finding a little perspective, for dropping more clothes at the clothes bank, for buses, for dd taking to video editing like a duck to water, for the gutters doing their job in the downpours.

Filled in an online form about mum's Council Tax (another biggie off the list). Trying to make a decision about the polytunnel. Probably the best option is one that's the same as the existing one, so I can pop the new cover over the existing frame. This will give me space to hide some 'ugly' items, get all the plants in need of protection under cover, set more seeds off (probably the last lot until January). All of which will make room to move in the garden and then I can tackle other bits (hopefully under cover when the weather turns bad). This option costs £72.99 and then I can have an 11% discount (51% off original price). Going for green as it hides more than the white ones (which also seem more like the things the police put up to cover crime scenes). If I can avoid buying any of the sale shelves, I'll come out on top. Mum will find something to complain about, whatever I do. Loved the 4m x 2m polytunnel but it has a peak top rather than the rounded (tunnel) top.
Another bag for life's worth of paper and card into the blue recycling bin and lots more fish and veg eaten.
I am grateful for enough sleep, more sewing and comfy viewing (and 3 billboards last night - originally seen at film club). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage8 -
