It seems April 2018 is the new cut-off for these offers going forward. Used to be September 2012. Wonder why the Halifax one didn't allow switches into existing accounts but this one does.
  • Would you still qualify for the switching bonus if you’ve just had the £100 from Halifax with them being in the same group?

Yes as long as you haven't had a switch incentive from Lloyds since April 2018.

I’ve just checked my statements from the last Lloyd’s switching offer (I still have the account that was opened for this) and it was October 2019.

It seemed more recent in my memory for some reason, but still within the last year.

Knew that having a Lloyds account lying around would come in handy

Great news. Was wondering whether to keep the Lloyds Club accounts seeing as the interest drops again on Oct 1 but glad we haven't binned them now. One switch for the wife, one for me and that's her new phone paid for.

Shame it's only one incentive for each customer and you can't also claim another one for switching into the joint account as well (or even better, a la Santander, one bonus for each account switched in).

i currently use my halifax account as one of my main accounts they do keep asking me to open a second account not sure if they would frown upon opening another account with them and then switching that account to lloyds so soon after opening

Cannot complete their switch form as something has gone wrong with their systems.

Phoneline cannot take my call today.

    Pathetic.
