Maybe that's it, I'll have to sort out DD's then. I somehow ended up with £1.12SpanishBlue said:I have no DDs and got 2p interest for the 1st month and 1p the 2nd.I'm guessing they pay it for the 1st couple of months regardless to give people enough time to set up DDs?I haven't decided yet on what to spend my unexpected 3p windfall!

Apart from paying in the £1500 and immediately withdrawing it, I only keep a few pounds in the account.Should another Bank come along with another bribe incentive, it will probably be the one I switch, but till then, I do get the free Rakuton movie once a month, not that I have used it yet.0 -
That was my intention, until I saw the interest. I went for cinema tickets, not the best choice for us in tier 3SpanishBlue said:Tharweb said:

I received, albeit a small amount, of interest, in the first two months, so decided to maximize on this and paid £5000 into the account last month. So far this month, I haven't received any interest, I'm just wondering if they they've realised their error.I've had 5K in my account since October, got £1.08 interest on 2nd Nov and nothing in December. Got 2 seperate DDs going out (albiet it for the same company). Is anyone getting interest?0 -
Interesting, so this could be an error. If you met the criteria, I'd get on to them about it. I can't as I didn't have the DD's in place, they are now though. Can you let me/us know what they say if you contact them please.Birdman2015 said:Tharweb said:Did anyone switch to a Club Lloyds account without the 2 DD's, but find they received interest on the account balance, like I did?

Is this the post Office? I too was getting interest until December and had two DD going out to the Post Office one weekly and one monthly and they only show as one.
