Always good to catch up with your diary! Stunning photos as always but you don't help me to stop booking holiday breaks haha.

Great news on the van being worth more than you paid for it - have you beat the interest on the loan too?
Yes we have beaten the interest by a wide margin as well. Not bad going for a van we have owned 3 years and have added £15k miles to the clock.

Wednesday already. The weather has turned a bit damp again today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work, salad box for me and dinner tonight is salmon with rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • weigh in Wednesday
Catching up with the holiday washing seems to be taking some doing this week. Didn't help that there was already nearly a full load waiting when we got back. Fingers crossed it will be the last load tomorrow, until the weekend at least.

I am fully expecting that weigh in Wednesday will be my first gain for the year this time around. We ate far too much hearty food while we were up in Scotland and although we did a fair amount of walking I don't think it will be enough to stop a gain this time!

Absolutely !!!!!! mad but I can't imagine you are complaining.

Good going with the weightloss too - hopefully you're not too far away from your target now.

We have both reached our original weight targets. I have decided to aim for losing another 6 or 7 pounds. The other half doesn't want to lose much if any more really.

Not all that fussed if I don't lose anymore to be fair. I feel so much better for losing a stone that I would be happy to stay at this weight.

Another rainy start to the day. It doesn't seem to have gotten light yet!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is haggis, root veg mash and greens.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • vacuuming the house
    • load of washing
The breakdown cover renewal came through for the van this morning. That is only 75p higher than last year so we will be sticking with that for another year.

Just need to sort the insurance out now, still waiting for the renewal price from our current insurers to compare with the other quotes we have. MOT next week and then we are good to go for another year.

Well done on maintaining. No doubt all the walking burned off the extra calories.

Good to have all the van stuff almost sorted for another year.
