Could get used to these sunny mornings  :D

It's Friday and a sunny day. Hopefully the signs of a good day to come.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is the shepherd's pie I made last night. Just need chucking in the oven when we are ready.

No jobs tonight other than walking the dog. Just need to put some food on the van the rest of our stuff is already on there. We are heading out into Lincolnshire tonight to a market town we have not visited before. We are staying at the cattle market there. £10 a night with fresh water tap and a grey waste disposal point. Can't complain at that. Black water disposal is available at £3 but we won't need that if we are only there for a couple of nights.

Hopefully this weather stays put for the weekend.

Have a good weekend.  I think it's wrong to charge extra to discharge black waste when they are already charging you to stay although at £10 a night it's still a cheap place to stay.  We don't tend to discharge black waste if we're only away for a couple of nights either - it's easy enough to do once we get home using an old bucket!

We have a very handy foul water manhole right by the driveway, so it's nice and easy to empty the black tank at home and a much nicer experience then some of the waste disposal points we have come across!!

We carry a spare cassette so realistically we can if necessary (which doesn't tend to be all that often) go 4 or 5 days without needing to find a disposal point. It only gets used very rarely but is have the odd occasion we do need it.

We have a spare cassette too and in the 20 years or so we have been motor homing we've only used it twice but as you say for the odd occasion it's worthwhile carrying it.

Unfortunately our manhole is in the back garden so the waste water has to be carried through from the front.

It was a really nice drive out yesterday. The countryside was looking lovely in the evening sunshine.

Where we are staying was easy to find and there are quite a few other vans here as well.  Obviously a popular stop over.

We strolled to the pub by the entrance last night for a couple of beers before heading back to the van for dinner.

Today we have friends visiting this morning and then we will be heading out to explore the town. Think we are having a takeaway curry delivered tonight.

We have been really surprised about the town here. Its really pretty and so very friendly. We will definitely be coming back again.

Just back on the van for a quick shower and then we are heading back out again.

Well we will certainly be visiting Louth again. It was a really enjoyable weekend away.

We have just got back home now. Got some washing on which is going to get hung on the line to dry while the weather is nice.

Not got much planned for the rest of the day. Will take the dog out for a walk shortly and need to prep dinner, roast chicken today.
