Have a safe journey home and hope there aren't too many hold ups anywhere. Bank holiday travel is a thing of the past for us now. We prefer to stay home these days!1

As predicted the traffic was terrible. We have just got home some 8 hours after we set off this morning.
But at least we have made it home safe.
Not got much planned for the rest of today. Will take the dog for a walk in a minute and then prep dinner. Roast lamb tonight.
Can't believe it's back to work tomorrow already 🙄2 -
Glad you had a good time and the weather was nice. I can’t believe how fast this long weekend has passed by.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Back to work today. Another four day week so it won't be a long working week.
Mortgage payment day today with the usual £406 overpayment.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was toast with some Scottish Plain bread we have brought back, lunch is a meal deal from the shop today, didn't have time to do any shopping yesterday, meal deal's are not cheap anymore, and dinner later is cajun lamb wraps made with leftovers from yesterdays roast dinner.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- load of washing
- weekly shop

Always good to catch up with your diary! Stunning photos as always but you don't help me to stop booking holiday breaks haha.
Great news on the van being worth more than you paid for it - have you beat the interest on the loan too?2 -
