Sounds blowy out so I'm going to get a couple of loads of washing on the line as well.
Breakfast this morning is scrambled eggs on toast and dinner later is slow cooked turkey with Yorkshire pudding and veggies.
Not much else planned other than walking the dog. Might have another hour in the garden depending what time we finish with the van.1 -

That's been an expensive day. £325 to tax the van for 12 months!!
It's booked in for it's MOT and service on the 10th April.
On the plus side it has all come out of this months budget so no need to raid the savings!
Insurance next month and then we are done van essentials for another year. Hoping that we will have enough of an underspend this month to pay for the insurance again without raiding the savings.0 -

Only a quarter pound loss today so not a huge one but a loss is a loss and I will take that.
Fully expect next week will be a gain with us spending four days with family and no doubt eating hearty Scottish meals every day!0 -
Well done being under £10,000 that has soon come down. Have you checked what it’s worth now. If we were to sell ours tomorrow and get the suggested price….we would still be in pocket. It’s crazy how they’ve risen in price 😳

We could easily recoup what we bought it for, the £3.5k interest on the motorhome loan and have a nice amount left over. Not that we want to do that mind. Still plenty of adventuring to be done with this one.1 -
Last working day of this week and it's pay day.
Money shuffle day with £200 going to the savings account, £100 to the premium bonds and £50 to the ISA.

No jobs tonight other than a quick walk for the dog. The van is packed up ready to go and full of water (glad we are finished with draining it down fully for this winter) so we just need to grab a quick shower at home and then we will be hitting the road.
Slumming it in a layby tonight. We know how to live the high life.0 -
