Traffic was absolutely terrible this morning, not helped any by the vile wet and miserable weather. It seemed to take an age to get to work.

Anyway it's payday so, £100 sent to the Premium Bonds, £300 to the savings account and £50 to the ISA.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is steak, chips, onion rings and grilled peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog.
    • hoping not too many trick or treaters knock on the door.

It's direct debit day today. Money in Money out. Overpayment has gone to the mortgage account.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pork loin with rice and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • load of washing
    • cleaning the kitchen
There were loads of trick or treaters out last night and cars parked everywhere. People had obviously driven their kids in to the estate which we really don't agree with. Back to normality tonight hopefully.

It was nice to start the day to some sunshine today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is hot dogs with chips and onion rings.

No jobs to do tonight other than convincing the dog to go out for a walk, hopefully with no fireworks. He is terrible with them. Not looking forward to this weekend for him.

We have managed a lie in this morning. It's amazing that the dog has let us stay in bed this long 😀

Mot much on today other than trying to keep the dog calm later on. We need to pick up the sheep we ordered from the farm shop this morning, getting stocked up for Christmas now. The turkey and gammon are already in the freezer as is the manglatisa pork bacon and sausage.

Breakfast this morning is a full English and dinner later is a slow cooked ox tail curry with rice, sides and poppadoms and pickle tray.

Will walk the dog before it gets dark. He won't go out once the fireworks start so one of us will be up in the night to let him out into the garden.

We are watching back to back Top Gun later. Will turn that up loud to drown out the fireworks.

I’d forgotten about the fireworks. Fortunately our dog and cats aren’t bothered by them but it must be awful for those that are.

My dog is still in bed 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
