Oh dear RS - crossing fingers for the OH not to have been struck down as well! (Although it would definitely raise an interesting question about your workplace policy if he has, wouldn't it! Not though they will listen, I imagine!)

I guess that depends how long the incubation period is?

I could easily have given it to him early last week before I had tested positive I guess.

Fingers crossed its just a sore throat. If not it will be another cheap weekend at home. 🙄

It was my throat more than anything else that was the problem. Hope he continues to test negative.

The other half has tested negative again this morning. He says he feels a bit better this morning as well.

So another Friday has rolled around.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pizza. We will have a few beers on the sofa first watching a film or two.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog and I must remember to plug in the van tonight and turn on the fridge. We are out in Derbyshire tomorrow night meeting up with family.

Good to hear that your DH has tested negative again this morning.  At least you can get out in the van at the weekend.  Enjoy Derbyshire and meeting up with family.  Are you staying at a pub stop?

Yes we are staying at a pub stop this weekend. It's just up the road from where the other half's auntie and uncle have recently bought a new house.

We were going to eat in the pub but they have a halloween party on tomorrow night so we have said we will go into the pub for some drinks during the day and then go back to the house for a takeaway later on, get the dog out of the way of the party. The landlady was more than happy with that.

Thank you. It's a part of Derbyshire we have not visited before. Don't think you would unless you had a reason too.

    Looking forward to it.

Had a couple of weekends at home now. Getting cabin fever 🤣🤣🤣

Just catching up with your diary from July. Been awol for a bit. Enjoy your Motorhome hols. We have a touring caravan but Oh has slowly come around to thinking of changing over to a Motorhome. We don’t use the caravan as much as we would like as we mind our GK’s during the week but come next may all will be in school or pre school. It is so much easier to just pack up and go away in a MH, also OH usually says we need to go away for at least 3 nights as it’s not worth all the hassle for 1 or 2 nights. The thought of handing the GK’s over on a Friday night and then just getting the MH and going away for the weekend is so appealing. We live not far from the Welsh border so have a lot of lovely areas we will get to with an hour to an hour and a half. Also we take our dog away with us, I would feel guilty if we didn’t take him as he enjoys it as much as us.x

Our van is left so we can just go out at the drop of a hat if we want to. We just need to stick some food in the fridge and top the water up.

Its no hassle at all to get ready or set up when we get where we are going. 5 minutes and we are sorted.

    We love it. Easy travelling.
