Annoyingly I have tested positive again this morning so any plans we had of going out are shelved.
Our current policy at work is that I should go back after five days. So technically should go back tomorrow. I will test again in the morning and see what to do from there. If I'm still positive I will stay home and ring HR tomorrow see what they say.
Annoyingly I feel absolutely fine now.
Guess it will be local walks with the dog today. On the plus side. It's been a cheap weekend.
Highlights of the day look likely to be a full English breakfast and roast pork for dinner later 🙄0 -
On no to the positive test. Pleased you’re feeling better though. It just doesn’t feel right having to mix when still positive 😵💫😵💫January spends - £587.580

Managed to get hold of our HR lady today, and profusely apologise for bothering her at the weekend of course, and come what may I am at work tomorrow. So no point taking another test.
Feels really odd doing that. But that is the company policy so hey ho!
Won't be doing another test now!1 -
We would be told to WFH until a negative test, but my DD’s company has the same policy as yours. Hopefully you’re not infectious now but be it on their heads …I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

What happens if you’re still feeling off colour and you’ve past the 5 day threshold at work.
I'm on day 5 today….felt fine this morning and have been pottering in the bedroom sorting a wardrobe out…..nothing strenuous. This afternoon I’m back in bed shattered.Take care 👍January spends - £587.580 -

First day back at work and it is going fine so far. I feel back to normal again anyway.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is roast pork in black bean sauce with noodles and spring rolls.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
