I can see why you're miffed at that! I wonder why they sold it on to a debt collection company?
The whole of the banks (PCF Bank) vehicle loan portfolio has been sold to them.

We have had several letters from them now assuring us that the terms of the agreement are as we signed up too but it just feels wrong. Still nothing I can do about it now other than keep making the repayments. We did look if we could refinance it elsewhere but rates are so much higher now it would cost us a lot more, so no point.

Went for a walk with the dog at dinnertime and we both got soaked. I dried off the dog and jumped straight in the shower.

The little ditch that runs through the playing fields has burst its banks and the pond is very high.

Sounds like the other half is going to have an interesting drive home. There is lots of flooding in Sheffield. Have told him to stay safe.

There are flood warnings out for the town centre again. I really hope they don't flood again. That will make it three times in as many years!
  • Closer to home for me, my back garden.

I feel a lot better thanks. Attempting a beer now. Can't really taste it though 🤣🤣🤣
  • Luckily it hasn't come in the house but the garage is flooded.

My house backs on to the main road, an A road, bus route. To my left it's a long hill and as well as being at the bottom the road itself slopes across.

It's only 4 weeks since the last flood, but not as bad as this.

The drains are blocked but it's impossible to get Notts CC to do anything about it.

The road is higher than my garden, higher than the top of the fence and there is a sloping grass verge down to my garden level, every time a car or lorry goes through the flood the water just pours down the verge and into my garden.

Believe you me today I have tried everything but no one has done anything, Fire said they couldn't do anything because it was raining. Councilor had mobile turned off, there must have been an accident today as there is part of a car bumper behind the fence, it wasn't there yesterday

It really has been awful weather today. We were meant to go out for lunch but didn't bother in the end.

At least we're not by the sea, they have seen the worst of it.

Feeling much brighter today. Its like someone has flicked a switch. Nose has stopped streaming, no cough and no sneezing.

We are supposed to be at the other half's bosses birthday party tonight. Other half has tested negative this morning so he is going but I'm not. I have said I will drive him there and back so he can have a drink.

Dog has been to the groomers this morning. Other half took him and I stayed in the car. He is now in the supermarket. Feels good to be out of the house even if it is only in the confines of the car!

Hoping for another negative test in the morning and then we can go out somewhere together tomorrow 😀
