EssexHebridean said:Ha - I love the Dambusters - it's my "not so local local!" - Greg & Steve who run it are ace, they've put so much work into it and the food is always cracking too. I do slightly miss the days when less folk knew about it through before the two extensions were built!
Lovely to see an unexpected photo of it on here!
In less good news, sorry to hear that you've got Covid again - there really does seem to be a fair amount of it about at the moment, although I guess that will likely continue just with less people realising it as time runs on - now it's out there in the wild the only thing that will change is people testing for it when feeing a bit rough I would think. At least it does mean for some folk them taking time off, anyway, rather than trying to work through it because they feel it's expected of them. Hopefully you'll get away with a mild case again and be negative really soon.
Parking for the van was a pain when they were busy for Sunday dinner though.2 -
Get well soon and I hope it’s a mild case. Going to have a look at how far The Dambusters is away, might have a drive out for lunch one weekend for a change.

I feel a bit better today and the line on the covid test was a lot fainter. If I have got away this lightly I will be happy! Don't want to jinx it though.
The repayment for the motorhome loan should have gone out today but it hasn't. We got the letter to say the transfer to the new company has taken place so hopefully its just a bit late being taken. Will give it a few days and then give them a call.
Not much else going on here today. I have cleaned the bathrooms and will vacuum later on. Got a load of washing in. Going to walk the dog in half an hour while we have a dry spell.

We’re covid twins. I’ve banished myself in the bedroom and Dh is using the spare room. I’ve slept a lot and had the sore throat from hell. I’ve been taking cold/flu tablets and know when I’m ready for the next one. I’ve dodged it so far and since I had my jabs last week hoped I’d got away with it….no such luck.January spends - £587.580

Don't want to jinx it just yet but I seem to be on the mend.0 -
Well the weather is grim today. Hope everyone manages to stay safe and dry. The other half has just gone to work with strict instructions to drive safely. Its horrible out there.
Another covid day at home for me. I do feel a bit better in myself again today but am sick of blowing my nose and sneezing now. My face muscles ache I've sneezed and blown my nose so much!
Not much going on again today. I hate just sitting around. Think the dog is enjoying some quiet time though.

Just checked and the motorhome loan repayment has been taken this morning so that's all good now.
Still not entirely happy that the loan has been sold on like that but not much I can do about it. Halfway through the loan term now.1 -
We had our windows and door on interest free credit and the finance provider changed halfway through. It hasn't made any difference though and we've only got 3 payments left until it's cleared.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Just a bit miffed with this one as it's been sold onto a company who do debt collection. Asset Link Capital (No. 10) Don't really want a debt collection agency on our credit files!0 -
I can see why you're miffed at that! I wonder why they sold it on to a debt collection company?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
