Time to Face The Music

They have been in the freezer for a while so I decided it was time they came out and got eaten!!

It's absolutely chucking it down outside so the van bedding can wait. We are not going anywhere in it this weekend so it can wait until the weekend I think now.

We actually had a dry day today so managed to remake the van bed.  The clean bedding has been sitting on the spare bed for nearly a week waiting for a dry day when we weren't doing anything else!  Forecast isn't good here for the next 10 days but we still want to get away for the weekend as we're meeting up with some friends in their motorhome and we haven't been out for a while either.

We are supposed to have friends coming round this weekend but they have been ill so not sure if they will make it or not.

Another dark and miserable start to the day. But it is half way through the working week. It's all down hill from here  

I have been and filled the car up with diesel this morning. Made the mistake of doing it in Sheffield this morning. Fuel is very expensive here compared to at home. But we needed some and it is done now!

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores today. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb chops, chips and vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• cleaning the kitchen

We use the PetrolPrices app for comparing fuel prices RS - it's not absolutely guaranteed to be right, but does mostly at least give an indication of whether it's worth filling up in a particular location.

We are normally more on the ball with filling it up near home where it seems to be cheaper. Caught us by surprise that it needed refilling again. Doesn't seem like two minutes ago it was last filled up!!

A dry start to the day today which was nice. It was lovely walking the dog this morning.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores today. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is spag bol and garlic bread.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• cleaning the bathrooms
• vacuuming the house

It's Friday again. That seems to have come around quick again.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is fried chicken, chips, corn on the cob and coleslaw.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog
• load of washing

It will be a few beers on the sofa tonight with a film.
