Time to Face The Music
Comments

We had a nice quiet evening last night. A few beers while listening to some music and then a lovely Shepherds pie.
It rained heavy in the night. It woke both of us up hammering on the roof.
Having a lazy start to the day today. A few coffee's and toasted sandwiches for breakfast and then we will head out for some muddy dog walks.
I'm making a beef stew in the slow cooker for dinner later today. Will serve that in some giant Yorkshire puddings later on. Will put it in before we set off walking.

So much for a Sunday lie in. Just been woken up by the dog being sick.
At least we woke up quick enough and managed to get him off the bed and down into the cab!
Anyways we had a lovely day yesterday. Did loads of walking and found a really friendly pub. Only called in for one and stumbled out five pints later!
We have really enjoyed our stay here and will certainly come back again.
Not much planned for today.
We will have a walk around the lake again this morning. Breakfast is egg and soldiers when we can be bothered with it.
We don't have any real rush to get off today. Need to fill the car with fuel when we do get back. Its MOT day tomorrow.
Got some pork out for dinner later.0 -

The dog is being very quiet today. Think he is feeling the effects of yesterday's long walk. He is doing lots of stretching so think he must be aching.
We forget he is getting older now!

It is going to be a spendy day today. £393 sent to the motorhome loan, £344 for the car insurance (that's gone up a third this year!!) and the car is booked in for an MOT and service and probably a new exhaust as well.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is cajun pork wraps made with the leftovers from yesterdays roast dinner.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- weekly shop
- picking up the car
- load of washing
