Time to Face The Music

A busy day today.

We will be getting up soon to have coffee and walk the dog then have a quick bacon and egg sandwich. 

Need to get the bedding and towels in the wash as well this morning. 

The car is in for tyres at 10.30am this morning. We will walk into town while they do that and grab a coffee and a couple of bits we need, then back to Pets at Home to pick up the dogs Christmas present. No doubt he will have a toy as well.

When the car is done we will head to the farm shop. Not been for a few weeks. 

Finally when everything is sorted we are going to walk to one of the local pubs we have never visited. It has just had a major refurbishment so now seems as good a time as any to go and have a look.

It will be a much quieter day today. Not got much planned other than walking the dog and putting the Christmas decorations up. 

The dog is loving the frosty walks this weekend. 

Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast this morning and dinner later is roast chicken with all the trimmings. 

The countdown to Christmas is on 😀

I feel like the Grinch, everyone seems to be putting up the Christmas decorations but I’m holding out to 1st December 😆

That said, we have fairy lights and a lit twig tree up all year round so it doesn’t look that different anyway.

My decoratioms dont go up until a few days before Christmas then they come down on New years day. The latter is a hangover when we always had friends round on new years eve and we had our dgds so while clearing up from that it was convenient to do the rest. I am truly the grinch.

Everyone goes mad for Christmas here on our estate. Loads up already!

Should really have done the Christmas stuff yesterday before we were hungover. We are all out of Christmas spirit now 🤣🤣🤣
