Time to Face The Music

Just caught up with your diary, you're doing very well with the reduction and savings slowly going in the right direction too. Not surprised to hear it's been snowing your way, it's been very cold here all day, some places the frost has not lifted.

Another frosty start to the day. First mortgage payment with the increased over payment today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is goat burgers with chips, onion rings, corn on the cob and homemade coleslaw.

No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. It is a few beers chilling out in the sofa watching a film or two.

I can tell its cold out. The house is creaking and cracking as the heating starts to warm it up!

The boys are still asleep snoring away. No rush to get up today so they can snore some more.

We don't have a deal planned for today. We need to go to the farm shop to pick up the venison joint we have ordered for new years day and we were going to pop into town but it really doesn't matter if we don't manage that. There's nothing pressing. 

Breakfast this morning is a full English and a few coffee's before venturing out with the dog.

Dinner later is a slow cooked beef saag masala. Nice and warming for a cold Saturday.

Just peeped through the curtains and we have a covering of snow. Hopefully won't be enough to stop us delivering Christmas presents today. Will check with people before we set off. Its usually worse where we are heading than it is here!

Breakfast this morning is a full English after we have walked the dog. Dinner later is a smoked ham hock with roasties and a cheesy vegetable bake. 

Not much else planned for today. We got the van cleaned yesterday ready for next weekend. Will do a couple of loads of washing today I think. Will have to use the dryer though. It will freeze on the line 🤣🤣🤣

We’ve had quite a lot of snow overnight. The young cat has never seen it before and didn’t know whether to eat it or play with it 😆 It was so funny watching her leaping about in it. 

I can remember my mum still hanging out washing in freezing weather and me finding it highly amusing when she brought in the stiff as a board clothes 🤣

I am very jealous of your snow. We rarely get it here in the west country  coast.

It's mostly gone now. Warmed up through the day. Got the presents delivered we hoped too so we have a steady run to Christmas now.
