The year is flying by. Interesting re P&O - so much of what we receive through the media is over sensationalised unfortunately.

£300 paid to Card 7 today.
Not a no spends day today, we have had to fill the car up with diesel. We have noticed the price of fuel has drifted down again this week. We are currently saving about £30 a tank over what it was at it's highest which is quite a saving per month!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was crumpets for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is sweet potato burgers with cajun chips, spicy onion rings, corn on the cob and homemade coleslaw.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the bathrooms
- vacuuming the house
- load of washing

But at least we have the money there for them and it won't be going onto the credit card.4 -
It will be a no spends day today. Number 1 for March
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pizza and a few beers on the sofa. Another meat free day today.
No jobs tonight other than walking the dog. We walked him in one of the big parks we pass on the way home from work last night and he really enjoyed that. Might do the same again tonight. Not been in that particular park for a long time. It's not quite so enjoyable when it's dark, wet and cold during the winter.1 -
Great to see you doing so well still. Are you consciously trying to eat less meat?0

Absolutely not. It's just how meals have landed and trying to use some stuff up out of the freezer before we restock it again.alt80 said:Great to see you doing so well still. Are you consciously trying to eat less meat?1 -

Not a no spends day today but don't think it will be overly spendy either. The dog is at the groomers at 11am and we will nip to the farm shop while he is there.
Breakfast this morning is a Breakfast wrap and I am putting an ox tail curry in the slow cooker for dinner later. Will serve that with pilau rice, samosa and naan bread.
Not got any plans for today other than that. We will take the dog out for a walk somewhere local. But we are going to enjoy a quiet weekend at home this weekend. Our last one for a while.1
