I’m hoping there’s no snow - it had forecast heavy snow tonight but it’s downgraded to sleet. Hoping it’s right 🤞

Well the snow has arrived.

Not sticking at the minute though so hopefully it stays that way.

Hopefully the bar stools arrived today. We have snow now and it’s starting to settle.

Not a no spends day, I have been to the shop this morning to pick up a few bits for the weekend. Hoping that this snow goes away so that we can actually get out as planned. If the weather doesn't improve we won't be going.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was porridge, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is jerk pork loin with sweet potato chips and vegetables.

Tonight's jobs are:

• walking the dog (he is loving the snow)
• cleaning the bathrooms
• vacuuming the house
• plugging in the van
• remembering to get a joint of pork out of the garage freezer while I'm in there!

Well we made it to work but I don't think we will be here for long. The roads are terrible.

So far there are 4 of us out of about 100 in the office! There is only the other half at work so far where he is.

The snow wasn't bad when we set off but it has got progressively worse as we got closer to work to the point of the road here being pretty much impassable now.

The little Hyundai has been like a mountain goat

Think it will be an early finish today and I'm fairly certain that we will not be going to Lincoln tonight. On the plus side it will probably be a no spends day instead. Won't call it yet though.

I decided to WFH today. I can't imagine many will make it into the office.

Its on the news that people are stuck on the M62. I know you arent thats west of you and I dont know which way its moving but keep a very close eye on the weather. I would hate you to be stranded.

The weather is improving here. It has stopped snowing and is getting brighter. Looks like we might get some sunshine soon.

The snow on the road here is starting to melt quite quickly.

I think we will be fine.
