How exciting to have snow. We don’t have anything down here. Not even rain so just been for a nice dog walk with DD2.

If I was at home with nothing to do and nowhere to go I would be enjoying the snow.

It's just a nuisance right now!!

Started snowing again as well for good measure.

The dog made the most of what little snow we had at home this morning :)

Oh gosh RS you have had a big pile of snow , I hope it's improved for you. I'm on the other side of the Pennines and it's all gone here just a small amount fell last night . Sun shining now as well. Can you not travel tomorrow morning ?

I think we will be fine for going home. The snow is melting really quickly.

I imagine it will have mostly gone at home by now if the weather is like it is here.

We could travel in the morning but it is forecast to be really cold overnight so it will be really icy. If we can we would rather travel tonight and get parked up while the car park is quiet. Last time we went on a Saturday afternoon and getting a parking space was a nightmare.

If we get there tonight we can park up for the weekend and forget about it. It's forecast to be a positively tropical 9 degrees on Sunday!

Those trees look beautiful. The Pennines looked gorgeous in the distance this morning whilst on my way home - white hills against the blue sky….I couldn’t even see them on Wednesday when the snow started. It has snowed the last 2 days but only very lightly- thankfully it didn’t stick. I really expected it would.

We made it to Lincoln. 🤩

We both managed to leave work an hour early to go and get sorted. It's a good job we did, we got stuck on the M1 for an hour. So we made it home at about the normal time anyway 🙄

Sorting the van out in the end was trouble free and we had a trouble free drive here.

We are now parked up for the weekend, so not a no spends day, £18 for 48 hours parking.

Having a few beers now before we stick the lasagne and garlic bread in the oven.

Think we will be testing Milos cold weather credentials out tonight. Its forecast to get down to -7 here tonight.
