Apparently it is a very large (very very large) cable drum of steel cable.
They did a similar run in 2017. The cable is offloaded onto a ship at Goole where it then heads off to Africa.1 -
The other half has been given a pay rise today. Not a huge one, about £1 an hour, but he wasn't expecting one and every little helps.

Not a no spends day today. I need to go to the farm shop for a few bits today.
Breakfast is a full English and we are not sure what we are doing for dinner now.
Our friends who were supposed to be staying over tonight but cancelled are now coming to see us for a few hours this afternoon which has thrown our plans into complete disarray. Probably means we won't end up watching the wide load either.
Will probably end up with a takeaway 😕1 -
We might not get to see the big load on the move but we have just seen it, well most of it, it is one truck down at the minute, sat waiting in the yard.
It is enormous in the flesh!
