Another no spends day today. Number 14 for February.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is lamb and mint burgers with sweet potato chips, beer battered onion rings and homemade coleslaw.
No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. Now that the evenings are getting lighter this feels less of a chore. Might take him in one of the big parks we drive past on the way home. He will like that. We have not been for a long time.
Tonight we will be chilling on the sofa with a couple of beers watching a couple of films before probably heading to bed early ready for a weekend of catching up with friends. On that note I must remember to plug the van in and turn on the fridge when we get home.1 -

Now I am going to admit that I am not making these lamb burgers. They came with the half lamb that we bought for the farm shop last yearLittleMissDetermined said:Oooh I do like lamb and mint burgers, we usually add a dollop of raita to ours 😋 not had them in aaages so I may add them to next weeks menu!
They are very nice though, and huge!
We will be having garlic mayo on the brioche burger bun with them with sauteed onions and chillies.
Right. That's it. I'm hungry now.2 -

Definitely not a no spends day today. We are meeting up with old boating friends in Lincolnshire.
We are going to what is becoming our favourite cafe for breakfast. Not far away from us but does a brilliant breakfast with quality ingredients. Not badly priced either at £7 including coffee and toast.
We are eating out tonight as well in the pub in the village we are staying in if we can get in. If not there is plenty of choice for a takeaway to eat on the van.
It will be nice to catch up with friends and have a look at their van. We love being nosey and seeing all the different fit outs and layouts 😃
It will be the last time this winter that we get to use this aire. It becomes part of the proper campsite again next week and the price shoots up accordingly. We will no doubt be back next winter again.2 -
Have a great trip - enjoy 🍻I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

We had a great night last night catching up with friends. It was a laugh a minute.
The pub stopped serving food early which wasn't ideal but we did manage to blag him into the Indian restaurant 😀
He loved it 🤣🤣🤣
Not much going on today. I am cooking breakfast for us all a little later.
Tonight we are having roast pork and all the trimmings.
We don't plan to do much today. Will probably top the van up with diesel on the way home and I need to wash the mats. It rained just enough to make things muddy yesterday!
Other than that it will be dog walking and chilling out I think before we head back to work tomorrow.3
