It can take a break for a few weeks now. It won't be used again now until between Christmas and New Years. So with that in mind and the colder weather forecast it has been drained down properly.1 -
It will be a no spends day today. Number 2 for December. Would really like to make it into double digits this month with the no spends days.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is smoked bacon and stilton quiche with chips and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs will:- walking the dog
- load of washing

Aww poor little soul - hopefully his sniffles will come to nothing. Good job it was now not a few days ago or you'd have had a dilemma about his sleep-over!
I think the darker evenings are getting a lot of people down this year - I suppose combined with all the bad news there seems to be re cost of living etc it's no surprise it's all feeling a bit doom and gloom. I know I'm looking forward to Christmas now even though for us the break isn't a massively long one this year - although having just counted it works out as 12 days for me which isn't too bad actually! I'd forgotten about the extra day on the end!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Definitely not a no spends say today. In fact it has been an incredibly spendy day already. We popped to the shops to pick up the birthday presents and some beer stocks. Stocking up now while it is on offer
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pasta bake and garlic bread.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- load of washing
- cleaning the kitchen
- wrapping birthday presents
- writing birthday and chirstmas cards
We are going to pick some more booze up either tomorrow or Friday while it is really cheap on offer. We will need some when we are away in the van so we may as well pick it up now.1 -

You are so well organised for Christmas in spite of working full time.

Glad the dog seems to be better. I’m also stocking up on Mr SA’s beer while it’s on offer. 2 for £20 minus family discount brings it down to £8.50 a crate. No doubt prices will shoot up come January so grab it while you can!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Think we will pick another 6 cases up either tomorrow of Friday. We have got plenty of room in the garage for it and the van needs stocking up for going away as well.0
