Oooh what is the PPR under your username @RelievedSheff?

Apparently  PPR is when someone's permission to post on the board is removed.

Bizarre!  I would have thought RelievedSheff is the last person to be sanctioned on this forum.  Something's not right.....

I think there might be a few technical issues on here as I keep having to log in from scratch every time which is a pain.

I hope you get rid of your sore throat soon.

Same here!  it's such a pain and really annoying keep having to sign back in.

Hope you're sore throat gets better soon.

  • I was wondering about PPR too - not seen it against anyone else and as indeed RS IS posting, it seems slightly odd!

Hope you manage to tell your sniffles to go away - the nasty lurgy thing I had a few weeks ago started with a rotten sore throat I'm afraid to say. MrEH is brewing something else again now too - he's not stopped coughing from the last lot yet so I'm making stern "do NOT give it to me!" noises at him!

I feel pretty rubbish today to be fair. Not sure how much of that is down to lack of sleep last night as well though. Early night tonight and hopefully we will feel a bit better in the morning.

Apparently the dog has kept his breakfast in and has happily eaten his dinner so he must be on the mend. He is strictly on his kibble only for a few days though until his stomach has settled fully.

Another no spends day today. Number 6 for December. Hoping to get another couple in this week.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was some sourdough toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a  lamb and mint pie from the farm shop with some air fried chips and vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • cleaning the kitchen
We both feel a bit better today. A good night's sleep seems to have done us the world of good. I think another early night tonight to try and shake this off completely before the weekend.
  • Glad you're on the mend! Wish I could get my hubby to have nice bread, it makes much nicer toast but he's a fan of the plain white sliced :(

Why not just buy both and keep in the freezer to take out as and when you want it for toast.  It's what DH and I do as I like wholemeal but he prefers white.
