A busy day today and most definitely not a no spends day.

Breakfast is toast. But we are going out to grab a roast pork sandwich at lunchtime and we are at a party with a buffet later on.

Very shortly I am off to the hairdressers to get my hair done. The other half is going to walk the dog while I'm gone.

Then when I get back it is the last Christmas present wrapping session before we take a dog for a walk in the woods.

Then we need to get showered and changed, load up the van, take the dog to his brothers where he is having a sleep over and then get to our friends house where we are parking the van for the night hopefully in time for the taxi we have booked at 6.30pm.

Busy day and a long night I should think.
  • Busy day for you! Enjoy the party later

We are just having a ten minute sit down. We have been on the go all day so far.

The dog loved his walk in the woods and his lunch at the diner there.

We are having ten minutes and then it's time to take the dog to his brothers.

We had a brilliant time last night with friends. Sore heads all round today.

The dog was unsettled last night. He is glad to be home now. He has crashed out in his kitchen bed.

Not a no spends day today. Didn't fancy cooking breakfast so we called in at McDonald's on the way to pick the dog up.

That will be the sum total of the spends today though. Got roast pork and all the trimmings later on for dinner. Just preparing that now.

A quiet afternoon in store I think.

Glad you had a great time. Aw your dog misses you so much. He’s a handsome chap isn’t he, I love his fluffy tail.

Not a no spends day today. I need to go and do the weekly shop after work tonight.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight will be garlic and herb prawns with noodles and stir fried vegetables.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • walking the dog
    • putting the shopping away
We had an early night last night but we have both woken up really tired this morning. I think it is just the time of year that is making us feel tired.

I think most of us are ready for a break at Christmas. I'm definitely flagging.
