Christmas is out of the cupboard for another year.

Not a no spends day today. We really do need to go and get diesel today. We didn't get it yesterday and the fuel light is on now!
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English for breakfast and roast turkey and all the trimmings later on for dinner.
We are nipping into town today to have a wander round. The dog likes it in the park there and he likes all the smells of town. We will nip into the pet shop and get him a Christmas present while we are down there.
We have both woken up early this morning. No idea why. We could have had a lie in today as well. Oh well we are up now. Best to make the most of it. Coffee and a dog walk first I think.1 -
Most definitely not a no spends day today. The car is in for an MOT, full service and brake discs and pads all round. So a very spendy day in store.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon with rice and vegetables.
No jobs to do tonight other than walking the dog. We got a fair few bits done over the weekend while we were at home so we can have a couple of quiet nights this week after work.1 -
Hope it’s not as expensive as you expect 🤞 for the car. I’m not holding my breath though 😳 on that.
Enjoy your relaxed evenings 😂January spends - £587.582 -

Fingers crossed the car work isn't too expensive.
Your decorations look lovely. I love how the dog chooses a bauble for the tree 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -

The car flew through the MOT, but even so what we had done was not cheap. £500, Ouch!
Savings account is looking a bit less healthy right now. Still that is what it's there for and it will get a top up again on Wednesday.
Need to get the savings topped up again for April now when the van is ready for an MOT, full service and cam belt. That won't be a cheap do!1 -
If it was up to the dog he would have one of the koi hanging from the tree instead 🤣🤣🤣Sun_Addict said:Fingers crossed the car work isn't too expensive.

A low spends day today after yesterdays effort! We have picked up some dog treats for at work this morning. No other planned spends for today. Only one more day to go until pay day.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. It was cereals for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is venison sausage, cheesy mash and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- load of washing
