It's pay day

Its also a busy day on the finances front. £300 sent to CC7, £100 sent to the premium bonds account, £200 sent to the savings account. It should other than the regular payments be a no spends day however.
There has been an error with my wages. The new NI rates have not been take into account so I need to query that this morning with the accounts department.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cheese on toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is pork chops with tortellini and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- cleaning the kitchen

Love to see your figures coming down every month 👍January spends - £587.580

I have had a direct debit tidy up this lunchtime and decided to cancel the National Trust one while I was at it. We just have not been using it and at £10.60 a month it is money that could be better spent elsewhere.
The other two that were cancelled were obsolete DD's no longer in use. One for the other half's car insurance and one for a subscription we cancelled earlier in the year.0 -
They are getting there. It will seem like a long 30 months before the balances are all zero though!!milann said:Love to see your figures coming down every month 👍0 -
I'm glad it's not just me who periodically checked DDs for any that can be culled!

I have started looking every six months or so to see which direct debits can be deleted. It's easy to forget sometimes and have loads of obsolete ones hanging on.EssexHebridean said:I'm glad it's not just me who periodically checked DDs for any that can be culled!

It was nice to have the money there to pay for the car maintenance. Same for the insurance on that one this year as well.
Don't want to jinx it just yet as there is still a month to go but we have not put anything on the credit cards this year which will be a nice change.2
