We have had a cracking weekend here. Yesterday was a busy but very enjoyable day. The dog is shattered. We got in 20k steps and a boat ride 😀

Definitely not a no spends day today. We need to fill the van up with diesel on the way home ready for next weekends trip to North Wales.
Breakfast today is eggy bread and dinner later is roast pork and all the trimmings. Not sure if we are doing this on the bbq or not yet.
The other half has got to look at the electric table on the van today. It developed a mind of its own last night and started going up and down of its own accord 😕
He also has a crash regulator to fit to the gas bottles so we can leave the gas on when driving.
We must remember to fill up the water tank as well. We will have an early start next Saturday morning.3 -
Sounds like a great weekend. 👍January spends - £587.581

Fantastic news re the amount owing, well done. Looks a fantastic weekend you've had too.
We got back from Suffolk yesterday, had an absolutely brilliant week thank you to suggestions on here. We put our phones / devices in a box and checked emails once a day, no photos taken out and about was the only downside, not that the world is missing out on my skills in that department ha but lots of memories with family and time to think about our future.

Definitely not a no spends day today. We have filled the car up with diesel and I need to go and do the shopping tonight after work. Will do the shopping in the Aldi near work today as our one near home is shut due to flood damage from last week.
Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight will be a simple and quick spag bol with garlic bread.
Tonight's jobs are:- load of washing (which should be dry when we get home)
- doing the weekly shop
- putting away the shopping
- walking the dog
We need to start to remember that he is getting a bit older now. Think we need to be a bit more careful with how far we are walking him and not take him too far at once.0 -
Our dog is 10 now and although she still enjoys running after her ball I’ve noticed she tires quickly. If we go further she often has to ride back on Mr SA’s scooter.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Ours is coming up for 6 now and is definitely starting to slow down a bit.
In other news I have messaged our energy provider and asked them to increase our direct debit from £95 per month to £160 per month. Going to try and get some more credit built up before the next big increase in prices in October!0 -
It will be a no spends day today. Number 11 for August.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon with rice and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
