Not a no spends day today. I had to go and get some eggs this morning. That's all for the spends today though.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is BBQ chicken, stir fried vegetables and noodles.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • walking the dog

We are off to North Wales early on Saturday morning for a few nights.

I have taken Friday off work to get my hair cut and get a few bits sorted out before we go.

Looking forward to a bit of a mini break. 5 days off work will be nice. Then it is only 3 weeks until we have a couple of weeks down in Devon and Cornwall.

    Sounds lovely.
We’re off to dds for a few days at the end of the month, and plan a weekend which will incorporate a train show for Dh and hopefully (if we can get in ) a nice Sunday dinner at a pub shown on the programme with Ralph Little and Ricky Tomlinson who travelled the North West in a Moho. We’ve just booked South Wales for next May, but want to get a trip a month again now it’s quieter…..so need to do some planning.

We are trying to plan in a quieter spell this autumn as we want to get the decals replaced on Milo.

They are known for fading and water tracking under them and ours have just started to fail. So we want to get them done before they look too bad.

Luckily the other half knows someone that will do them for us. We just need to get the old ones off and give the van a machine polish.

Will let the overhanging bushes of Devon and Cornwall do their worst on the current ones first though!!

Not a no spends day today.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores. Crumpets for breakfast and packed lunches as usual for lunch, Dinner tonight though we are going to try and get the BOGOF burgers from the local pub again. Hopefully it will be a bit quieter this time with it being later in the month and before pay day for most people.

No jobs tonight. We got most stuff done yesterday evening.

A day off work today bit it will be a busy day.

I have dropped the other half and the dog off at work. I'm going to the hair dressers shortly then it is off to the shops, cleaning the van, load of washing, cleaning the house, making tonight's fish pie and making tomorrow nights lasagne.

Must not forget to go and pick the other half up from work later on!

Will be ready for a beer tonight.

At least this cold feels a bit better today.

Don't forget to plug in the fridge so it's nice and cold for your beers while you're away!  Do you need to fill with water or have you already done that?

    Have a good time.

I can't wait for next Thursday when we're off to France in the van for the month.  Might also go into Belgium and Germany but haven't really made any firm plans!

    🤣🤣🤣

It's plugged in this time. Just letting it cool down properly before I load it up with food later.

Filled it up with water last weekend so we can just set straight off early in the morning.

    Your trip sounds exciting. 👌

You will have to let us know some recommendations in France for our trip there next year.

We tend to just move from aire to aire along rivers!  Our favourite river to follow is the Gironde.  The Loire is really nice too.  I think you'd probably like something similar as I know how much you like water.

The other area we particularly like is coastal Brittany which is a bit like the Cornish coastline.
