Sadly we have to go home today. We will be getting up shortly and going for one last walk.
A couple of coffee's and cheese on toast for breakfast and then we will set off.
We are grabbing some lunch on the way home and dinner tonight will be a takeaway. So not a no spends day but we have hardly spent anything while we have been here on the island.
It will be a long drive home but we will split it up. We don't have any rush.1 -
It's always a shame when it's time to come home when you've loved where you're staying. Glad you've enjoyed your time away.
When are you next away? No doubt it will be in a couple of weeks time! We've really missed being able to get away as regularly as we usually do but now the van is sorted out we'll be getting away regularly again. We're off on Thursday to France and really looking forward to it as only been away for a weekend a couple of weeks ago since the middle of June.
Enjoy the drive home.

Looks like another good one, safe trip back although probably getting close to home now. Parts of Wales are nice so I’m told and looks like the weather wasn’t too bad for you weekend either. I did have a nice time with family thank you. No good news at the moment anywhere just !!!!!! misery so tbh it was nice to be away and spend some time off from phones. Wife is meant to be off it generally so trying to do the same at home / weekends etc., team effort to sort both our heads out ha.1

We called into Conwy on the way home to get a bite to eat. Beautiful place but the drive in under the castle walls is a bit on the tight side 🤣🤣🤣
Breathe in!

The weather was brilliant. Far better than we expected.
The part of Wales we were in was really very nice. I imagine it would have been a nice drive in a car 😀2 -
We were looking at Conway castle through the binoculars from the top of the Orme on Sunday when we were out for the day 👍 Have you seen the cafe where you can stay for a night for around a tenner on the Great Orme….one we want to visit next year. That’s a tight squeeze under the castle walls 😳January spends - £587.582

It's pay day and a busy day on the accounts front. £300 sent to Card 7, £200 sent to the savings account, £100 sent to the premium bonds account. We have had a £21 underspend for the month so that has gone to the savings account and to round that up to £1000 I have added an extra £21.
Other than that it will be a no spends day. The last for the month which takes us to 13 for August.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was cheese and black pudding on toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is salmon wellington and vegetables.
Tonight's jobs are:- cleaning the kitchen
- walking the dog
