Enjoy your day and evening. You take your dog everywhere with you so not surprised he doesn’t like being left behind, bless him. Hope he’s ok with the sitter.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

The boys had a great time together. He is shattered now so hopefully he will settle and sleep tonight.

They are so alike, glad he enjoyed himself. Hopefully he’ll be too tired to notice you’re missing later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

The dog was a good boy last night. He had the face on with us when we got back though. He was not happy with us 🤣🤣🤣
Today might end up being a no spends day. Not really planning to do much.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast and dinner later is slow cooked brisket with Yorkshire pudding and vegetables.
The other half is going to do a couple of jobs on the van ready for going away later in the month. Nothing much just fitting the gas crash regulator and swapping a 12v socket for a USB socket. I guess I should give it a quick wipe around and vacuum as well if we are going out in it next week.
I was going to tidy the gardens up today. The grass desperately needs cutting but I can hear rain on the roof so it won't be getting done today!1 -
We managed to get the garden tidied up between showers. Thankfully it's warm enough and with enough of a breeze to dry the showers out quickly. So it looks like someone actually lives here now. The front was looking messy!
We decided to take the dog for a walk at a local country park so not a no spends day after all, we hacto pay for parking.

Back home now. The skies look pretty moody so I guess we have rain on the way. Not bothered now we are back it can do what it wants.
The brisket is smelling amazing. I have just prepared the Yorkshire pudding and the veg to go with it.
Time for a beer now I think and to chill out for what's left of the weekend. Back to the grindstone in the morning 😕2 -

It was indeed Rufford. Not been for a while. It was surprisingly busy. We expected it to be quieter with it being the day before the kids go back to school.Sun_Addict said:Ooh that looks like Rufford. We used to go there a lot.Not long until your Devon and Cornwall break now 😃0 -
Not a no spends day today. I need to go and do the weekly shop after work.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is rib eye steak with chips, beer battered onion rings, garlic stuffed mushroom, grilled peppers and grilled onions.
Tonight's jobs are:- walking the dog
- doing the weekly shop
- putting away the shopping

I saw the lightning and the rain but didn’t hear any thunder. However Mr SA and the dog were snoring in tandem so probably drowned it out 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
