Our energy supplier Outfox the Market are paying the energy rebate as a £66/£67 refund into our bank account each month which seems an odd way of working it, so we will put that money into the savings account as and when it drops into our bank account.
I thought this was how all the providers were doing it.
I was under the impression that they were going to credit your energy account not your bank account.

Tonight's pizza and chips has turned into a pasta bake. The pizza is still in the fridge at home 🙈

Not had it yet. Its in the oven smelling very nice though. Will be a late dinner tonight.

Pulled up at 8pm expecting to drop a pizza straight in the oven 🤣🤣🤣

Never mind. Gives us time to have a couple of beers first.

I think where we are this weekend will go down as the cheapest paid for parking place we have stayed. Free between 6pm and 8am and then £2 for 24 hours!

  • Expecting it to be a spendy day today. We are going out to explore Ripon and expect that will include sampling a few pubs.

We are having a full English for breakfast to set us up for the day. No idea what dinner will be yet. We need to buy it. Will see what we can find. I quite fancy some fish.

It was really quiet overnight here, surprisingly so given the proximity to town. The bins were emptied early but we have found that in most towns. We always had an early wake up from the bin men when we moored the boat in Lincoln City centre 😀

Have heard a few vans leave this morning. I really hope they have not left just to save paying £2 for parking 🙄

We are going to stick another £2 on today so we don't have to rush around in the morning. Another £2 will give us until 8am on Monday morning!

£2 well spent 😀 Hope you’ve had a good day. It would be rude not to sample the pubs while you’re there 😆

  • We had forgotten how pretty Ripon is.

It is also so dog friendly. He has been in almost every shop with us today.

Just waiting for our Chinese to be delivered to the van, which will be novel, and then an early night I think. We are all shattered. We have walked some miles today.

That looks lovely. Hope you all have a good night’s sleep 💤

  • Definitely not a no spends day today. We are filling up with diesel and LPG on the way home today, ready for Devon and Cornwall in a couple of weeks.

We will have one last walk around Ripon and have some breakfast before we set off though. Full English breakfast again. Dinner later is roast chicken with all the trimmings.

We slept really well last night. It was so quiet again. The takeaway was lovely. Will certainly use that again next time we are back.

This has been a great stop over. A good find. The people of Ripon are very welcoming to motorhomes which makes a pleasant change.

Yes you are quite correct other providers are crediting energy accounts. I was referring to how the amounts were being broken down as I had misread your original post 🤦‍♀️
