It’s clouded over here. I wish our dog would let us cool her off but she hates showers/hosepipes and won’t go in her paddling pool. I put a cold flannel on her earlier and she threw it off.

Ours has spent the day walking round with a wet towel draped over him.

Still rapidly cooling here. 30 degrees now so down over 10 degrees on the high this afternoon.

Looks like we might get rain but non is in the forecast.

Would she tolerate a cool coat (more difficult to get off than a flannel) or sit on a cooling mat? Our little one has taken to her cooling mat this last couple of days. She would never use it in past years. Mr H has a cool coat that we regularly wet with cold water.

I have thought about getting her a cooling mat, I think she might sit on it as she sat on the cold hot water bottle last week.

£393 sent to the motorhome HP loan.

It will be a no spends day other than that. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is bbq chicken, rice and vegetables.

Tonight we need to drop off one of our nieces birthday. It will be a run and drop through as they have covid in the house.

When we get home I need to clean the inside of the van tonight ready for the weekend. The other half will vacuum the house and clean the bathrooms while I do that.

Those totals are looking good. Love the way you tackle the debts but still have lots of fun 👍

We could just pay the debts off quicker but I do think that we would regret not having done the things we are doing now while we are fit enough and able enough to do so.

We have found a happy medium between paying the debts off in a reasonable timeframe and still enjoying life at the same time.

I think you have found the perfect balance between the two. When we had credit card debt we still went on holiday and weekends away. Thank goodness we did because Mr SA was diagnosed with a brain tumour at 47.
