Not a no spends day again. I need to pick some salady stuff up for our family bbq at lunchtime and I am going to pick up some stuff from the farm shop for our bbqs in the week when it will be too hot to cook inside.

We are getting up in a minute to go and walk the dog before it gets too hot. The kids will have to leave him alone later because he will be grumpy when he is hot. We will warn them.

I suspect our dinner later will be leftovers from the bbq. If not we will make a pizza again. We enjoyed that earlier in the week.
  • Enjoy your family BBQ, our pooch gets grumpy when he’s hot too or tired!

The family bbq was great, everyone really enjoyed it. Blimey can they eat though. We did a mountain of food and it all went!

The neighbours came around for drinks once the family had gone which got messy. We are both feeling the effects today. This is the first time I have felt well enough to type anything today 🤣🤣🤣

On the plus side it is a no spends day. Any plans for today have gone out of the window. We should have been washing the van but decided moving it today was a bad idea.

We have not done much today. I managed to get a load of washing hung out to dry and there is a load of stuff in the dishwasher to put away when I have mustered up the courage to peel myself off the sofa.

Dinner tonight will be rotisserie beef on the bbq. I don't think it will be a late night tonight. That's for sure.

Not long until the beef is finished. I'm looking forward to this. I've not eaten all day.

Ha hope your feeling a bit better now fml every time you mention those neighbours you’ve had more than a few lol. I’m going to have to try bbq roast, that looks amazing. Hope you’re making the most of the bbq? - we definitely are, most nights for dinner.
