Ha hope your feeling a bit better now fml every time you mention those neighbours you’ve had more than a few lol. I’m going to have to try bbq roast, that looks amazing. Hope you’re making the most of the bbq? - we definitely are, most nights for dinner.

Was in your neck of the woods today - went to Meadowhall for a bit of shopping after cutting centre parcs weekend from absolute !!!!!! hell with in-laws short.
We are definitely getting our money's worth from the BBQ. It will be busy this week as well.

I am feeling much better today. Glad I didn't have a drink yesterday. The other half on the other hand, well he was just kidding himself yesterday and had a few beers and he is feeling it this morning. He will never learn.

Not a no spends day today. We have been to fill the car up with diesel. It was a tad cheaper than the last time we filled up. The price has dropped to £1.95 a litre. A small drop in price but heading in the right direction at least.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight, well no prizes for guessing but it is another BBQ. It will be far too hot in the house to cook when we get home.

No jobs to do tonight. Again it will be too hot.

The dog had a nice walk this morning while it was cooler. Tonight he will be restricted to the garden.

It is getting mighty hot in this office now.

We have been given some shorter working hours if we want them for the next couple of days but we have to make the time back up next week. That and I would still have to wait to pick up the other half mean I'm not bothering and will just work my normal working day.

Setting off from work this afternoon the car reckoned it was 37 degrees!

In the garden in the shade 35 degrees.

Even hotter tomorrow which seems unthinkable. Its been bad enough today. Forecast us for another 4 degrees hotter!

Glad to hear you're enjoying your bbq and getting your money's worth - I wouldn't have bought one had I not been on here and didn't feel like good value until this recent nice weather as I'd hardly used it this year but paid for itself in the past week - used it a lot and son thinks it's amazing. Pleased with that purchase now.

Funny how you look at things different clean and sober, thinking yeah your OH probably deserves feeling a bit rough today fml I know I shouldn't judge anyone.

Over £200 to fill my Range Rover tbh using the milkfloat most of the time rn fuel prices are ridiculous even I am struggling with it.

Love how you've taken the photo at 32mph driving lol. I saw 36.5C in my car but a little earlier in the afternoon.

How hot is it in your house? Even mine's reached 26C in parts. Told son if he carries on complaining he'll have to go and sleep in the cellar which for some reason freaks him out idk why.

The other half was driving I just took the picture 😀

It was 31 degrees in our bedroom last night. With the fan on we both managed to get a bit of sleep last night.

Was a bit cooler downstairs at 27 degrees. Although this morning that had climbed to 29 degrees.

This morning it was 32 degrees in the kitchen.

Really not looking forward to today in the office. It is forecast to be a fair bit hotter than it was yesterday and it was bad enough yesterday!

Only today to go though. Looking forward to a much cooler day tomorrow.

Thank goodness for air con in the car. We have all managed to cool down on the way home.

Thankfully the temperature seems to be dropping off quite quickly this evening. It's already 5 degrees cooler than when we left work and is starting to feel more bearable already.

Just hosed the dog off. He is happy in the garden now. Prepped the bbq so we will have that shortly.
