@RelievedSheff it’s a shame there’s no kids entertainment possibly worth a day trip if there was. It did look like a nice place to go from your photos. Did you get much from the farm shop?

Must be nice coming back to a pay rise. Sounds like your employer is generally good to work for and are looking out for staff in current times.

All my staff’s pay went up not too long ago but mine hasn’t, !!!!!! broke as always ha tbf past few months really not contributed much myself, really leaned on my staff to keep everything ticking along so fair enough really.

The queue to get into the farm shop was massive so we went into the shed for a few beers instead. Got some cow juice from the vending machine on Sunday morning though.

Not a no spends day today. I need to nip to the shops after work and pick a few bits up.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals with the cow juice from Diddly Squat, we have both taken our packed lunches to work which had finished off the rotisserie pork from Sunday and dinner tonight is homemade pizza's cooked on the BBQ. It will still be too hot to cook in our kitchen tonight.

No jobs to do again tonight. The house is staying clean with us living in the garden :)

The dog won't get his long walk until just before bed when it will hopefully be a bit cooler.
  • Need to make use of the expensive BBQ too :)

    @dawnybabes true that tbf.

@RelievedSheff just had another look at your photo wow what a massive queue. Amazing what a TV personality does for that type of venture. Was the cow juice any better than Sainsburys lol?

We are making the most of our bbq too. This evening I’m cooking chicken and veg skewers on ours though kitchen isn’t too hot here, the house stays cool has to be some positives to a Victorian house it’s !!!!!! freezing the rest of the time ha.

The cow juice was very nice. Not very often we have full fat milk but I did really enjoy my cereals with it this morning.

Going to finish it off in the morning.

It must be a bit cooler today our bedroom is only 30 degrees this evening 🤣🤣🤣

Finally it will be another no spends day today. They seem a bit few and far between this month.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is katsu cod fishcakes with chips and vegetables. Hoping the kitchen will have cooled down a bit today.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • load of washing to line dry
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • walking the dog
I have increased the repayment to Card 7 to £300 per month in time for this months payment later in the month.

We have also decided that we need to try and put more away each month in savings as well. So we will increase our payments to Premium Bonds to £100 per month and the payment to the savings account to £200 per month and see how we get on from there.
