Impressive numbers with the savings 👍
I think with the savings we have made on repayments to different accounts and with the helpful pay rise I have got then the numbers for the savings should be manageable.

If not then we can always reduce them a little bit again.

Not a no spends day today. Beer is in offer again so we are stocking up while it is cheap again. Bought six cases this morning and will probably pick another six cases up tomorrow morning as well.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores. Crumpets for breakfast and we have both taken our packed lunches to work but tonight we are cheating and grabbing a KFC on the way home.

    Tonight's jobs are:
    • cutting the grass
    • vacuuming the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • walking the dog
  • Ooh, what's on offer and where RS? We are having a BBQ party in a few weeks and will need to stock up!

It was at the shop beginning with T and they have quite a few deals on cases with a Clubcard.

We bought Fosters this time at 18 for £11 with the Clubcard discount. They should have been £15 per case!

We will buy the same again tomorrow.
  • Brilliant, thanks RS :)

You can’t leave them in the shop at that price, much better off in your garage 😆

Doing extremely well with the financial discipline mate but with 12 cases of beer are you sure you don’t run a pub on the side?

Enjoy! Friday is only a day away. 👍

Not a no spends day, we picked some more beer up this morning to top the garage stash up.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. It was cereals for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is fish, chips and mint and chilli mushy peas.

It's Friday but we still have a few bits to do tonight to prepare for the family BBQ tomorrow. I need to marinade the meat and prepare it all to make life easier for myself in the morning. We are going to have a quick weed and tidy up of the patio which shouldn't take too long. And we need to make a shopping list for the last few bits of salady stuff that I will pick up in the morning.

The dog will need a walk as well. Might take him on the field tonight now it's  bit cooler so he can play in the stream. He will like that.

And then we might finally sit down with a couple of beers and watch a film. Don't think it will be a late night tonight though. It will be a busy day tomorrow.

Best to get stocked up while it is on offer. A saving of £4 a case makes a £48 saving on the 12 cases and they will get used.

The van needs restocking which will take 6 cases out.

Blimey. Might have to get some more next week  :D
