Hopefully, he’ll feel a lot better soon. Which jab did he have? I had flu like symptoms the day after my jab and felt hungover for a few days after that. I just kept myself topped up with painkillers.
He is very achy. He had the Astra Zenica jab.

Sure he will be fine. He will have some paracetamol later if the aches don't subside.

That’s exactly how I felt the day after mine. I was back to normal the following day.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

He has resorted to taking some paracetamol so he must be feeling rough. Not like him at all 🤣🤣🤣

I had the AZ one too. Would rather be poorly for a few days after jab than have COVID 😉

I had AZ too.  Had a very high temperature after about 5 hours and went to bed at 8.30pm (unheard of for me!) and slept through until 9am - again unheard of!  That day I felt tired in the afternoon so went to bed again for a couple of hours.  Woke up and felt fine and been fine since.  Much rather that than COVID.

2nd jab due early May so really could be any time from now on over the next few weeks as they seem to be getting through the 2nd jabs quite quickly now and a lot of people seem to be getting them after about 10 weeks rather than 12.

    Hope DH feels better soon.

  • Hi, I was one of the lucky ones no after effects at all not even a sore arm after the AZ jab that must be the one advantage of being old!! hope he feels better soon.

We have been out for a nice walk around a local nature reserve. Only a short two miles today just to get some fresh air.

The other half is having a soak in the bath. He did say he felt a bit better for getting out and about, so hopefully a nice hot bath should make him feel better again.

I'm going to get on with prepping dinner now.

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having a toasted sandwich for my lunch and dinner tonight is pork in black bean sauce with noodles and spring rolls.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing to line dry
    • load of bedding to wash
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • walking the dog x 2
The other half is in work today just to tidy a few bits up and secure the tool room in the garage. It will be his last day for at least three weeks.

We had a very early night last night. We were in bed at 8.30pm, the other half really was tired, we slept through until 6am this morning so we must have needed the sleep!!

Interesting re your work going to ask you back to office ft seems to be going against the trend a little though I don’t think they’ll be quite as much home working post COVID as some reckon.

Know a few people who have not been too well after the COVID jab completely tripping me off - know I’ll be soon tbh they try giving me the AZ one think I’ll refuse it and ask for the Pfizer one. Is he ok today?

He is absolutely fine this morning. Think he just needed the rest and a quiet day yesterday.

I'm pretty sure you don't get a choice in what vaccine you are given. I think you just get what they have!!
