alt  You wont get a choice of vaccine. To be honest I have heard the second dose of the pfizer one can give side effects similar to the first dose of AZ. I will let you all know but it will be about another month before I get my 2nd.
Whatever the side effects they are better than getting covid and possibly suffering from long covid with all that brings.

Relieve Sheff Glad other your half is feeling better.

Is the moderna one the best one then? Idk completely lost track but know they won’t even give AZ in Germany- can get blood clots in the brain. I def want to get the COVID protection but ultimately it’s my choice what vaccine - they can’t force you to have a jab so don’t see how they can force you to have a particular type of jab. Idk I’m going to ring the health line up I think. Last thing I need is getting a jab they’ll only give people in the UK and getting a blood clot in my brain.

No they cant force you to get a jab but they also wont give you a choice of what you get. All vaccinations, medicines etc have side effects. Read the info leaflet in the next pack of paracetamol you open.
The chance of a blood clot is so rare that it isnt worth worrying about. They are also except in very rare cases treatable. (about 30 cases in 18million was the last statistic I heard). Stop panicking and ignore what Europe is doing or not doing. I cant help feeling there are sour grapes there over Brexit.
The pfizer leaflet my husband got in January lists 12 different side effects and remember this was produced early in the year or late last year before many had been given. There have also been blood clots associated with the pfizer jab but they have hardly been mentioned. The moderna one is only just coming into the country so it is too early to say what will happen. Stop panicking over this and just accept that it is more dangerous for you to get covid than have the vaccine.

We had the AZ jabs and apart from tiredness and feeling a bit achy for 24 hours we were fine.  I think the link between clots and the jab is tenuous at best.  People get clots and there is not enough evidence to say the vaccine is to blame.  Just the media picking up on the EUs stance which may be political given their disruption to supply particularly with AZ.  We looked at the stats and the odds of getting clots are much smaller than getting Covid but we have friends who have turned down the vaccine because they are panicking about it.  Surprisingly they are quite relaxed about Covid though.

  • As I said yesterday I had the AZ jab, no side effects at all not even a sore arm, yes I am older but I have several health issues, covid would probably take me so it was a no brainer!! vaccination which ever they offered.

Just heard from the van dealership that the van won't be ready to view tomorrow now. It has been delivered to Ipswich instead of Dinnington!!

We will have to wait until Friday afternoon to view it now. It isn't a problem. Doesn't really make any odds what day we view it.

Jab thing yeah probably need to stop panicking tbh and probably done plenty of stuff more risky than the AZ jab.

Sent it to Ipswich rather than dinnington 😆😆😆 someone needs to brush up on their ability to read a map. Here’s hoping their van is better than their Geography. 😆

They have two vans with very similar reg plates. The one that should have gone to Ipswich is at Dinnington 🤣🤣🤣
