Got a load of game coming tomorrow
We like to make sure we have plenty of choice in stock and it does work out much cheaper in the long run. It seems expensive when it comes to time to stock up, especially if you end up needing a few things at once, but when you break it down it is considerably cheaper than buying from the super market.
Our two weekly shops for the next few months will be really cheap now.3 -

It should be a no spends day today.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have got some of last night's leftover goat spag bol for my lunch, think I will have it on a pancake and dinner tonight will be scampi, sweet potato wedges and mint and chilli mushy peas.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- vacuuming the house
- dusting the house
- putting away the game and wagyu delivery
- walking the dog x 2
It is the other half's last day at work for a while today. He might be late home tonight and he might possibly have to work tomorrow depending on how quickly they manage to get the place secured and ready for the roof removing.4 -
Very gloomy here too. Looks like it rained overnight. Have you started that list of jobs for the other half when he's off 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

He is secretly hoping that the van is ready earlier than they said so that he can tinker with that on the drive but I think he will be out of luck there.2 -
Fml are you sure your oh has a job and not a hobby? Not great weather here and looking like no better this weekend either. Sure it was like 20C and sunny this time last year or poss just lockdown 1 nostalgia speaking.

It is starting to feel like the other half has semi retired. I'm sure he would like to. Once the roof has been done I believe they are all going back to work full time.
There are murmurings that I might be going back to the office before too long as well. They are starting a phased return to the office with the intention of having us all back in the office at some point this year. They have contacted the first lot to arrange them going back and then they are leaving it a few weeks to bring in the next batch and so on. I've not had a fixed date for my return yet but it sounds like it will be this summer.
On a positive note, just had an email from the van dealership and the van should be ready for us to view next Tuesday. They are going to confirm this on Monday for us. If it is ready we will probably nip down there on Tuesday afternoon to have a look.2
