Shouldn’t laugh at the van mix up but isn’t it just typical 🤣🤣
We had to laugh about it. Doesn't really make any difference to us. Just means we have to wait a couple more days before we can see it.

Jab thing yeah probably need to stop panicking tbh and probably done plenty of stuff more risky than the AZ jab.

Sent it to Ipswich rather than dinnington 😆😆😆 someone needs to brush up on their ability to read a map. Here’s hoping their van is better than their Geography. 😆
They have two vans with very similar reg plates. The one that should have gone to Ipswich is at Dinnington 🤣🤣🤣
Amazing hahaha a good !!!!!! up always makes me laugh so long as it’s not my staff !!!!!! up lol. Are they the same model etc. too?

Realistically 17th May before you can use it anyway I think so no big deal as you say.

Yes they are the same model as well. Reg plate is one letter different 🤣🤣🤣

We could use it from yesterday. Sites are now open for vans that have their own self contained accommodation. Not that we intend to use campsites all that often 🤔

It's only a few extra days to wait. Will be a nice start to the weekend. Early finish from work on Friday, celebratory drinks Friday evening (assuming the van is right) and then start the weekend planning what we need to buy for the van so we are ready to roll when we can pick it up.

😆 worth asking them to keep both at Dinnington and pick the best one?

Where will you park it if not at a site?

Looking forward to your van updates, know I’ve laughed about it but actually think it could be nice in a bohemian sort of way - go anywhere, see different parts of the country/ Europe etc in an odd way I can see the attraction.

It won't be a no spends day today. The other half needs to go into town to pick a few bits up.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, lunch will be pork pie and chips and dinner tonight is cajun salmon with rice and vegetables.

    Todays jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing (hung on the line to dry)
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • walking the dog
The other half is just pottering around today. He has arranged to meet up with a friend we have not seen for a long time this afternoon so that will keep him out of my way for a while.

There are loads of places that vans can stop over night. We have subscribed to an app called Search for Sites which pin points loads of them.

We have also subscribed to Brit Stops which lists loads of premises that allow vans to stay overnight on their land. These range from farms to pubs to harbours. It is free to stay the night at most of them. Most have no facilities so you have to be self sufficient and although there is no requirement to use the pubs, farm shops etc. it is only polite to at least buy something or have a couple of drinks at least in return for the free over night parking.

We also know a lot of places from being out on the boat where we can park up for a weekend out of the way.

We will have to use sites occasionally to top up tanks and empty tank as required. But we reckon that will only be 1 night for every 3-4 spent away from sites when touring. For a weekend or even a long weekend away we won't need to be sited at all.
