Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0 -
Just received paperwork dated the 3rd which appears to duplicate a lot of what has been done already online. I'm assuming the aim is just to get a specimen signature.

Having said that, the last email after uploading my photo ID (and "eSigning" via their portal, which didn't involve providing a proper signature) said "If you have provided your required documents and signed any requested forms online, you don't need to provide this again by post or in branch." bit confused then whether to sign and send back the actual paperwork.

Even my application was sucessfully submitted and also got "good news - Your Personal Current Account will be with you shortly" welcome email but it has been 4 working days, I havent got any details yet. Just over the weekend I got a letter with prepaid envelope saying I need to provide the documentation listed in Table A and Table B, whereas Table A has photo ID verification (which was already complete on Digi docs) and asking me to submit this in branch as they cannot accept this type of documents via post.In addition to above, this morning I got a text message from my donor bank that you have requested for switch and also got email from RBS saying "Your current account switch has started".I do not know if my RBS account is open and if I still have to provide the documentation but my switch has started!!!!

I've also received a letter for my signatory even though I've received emails and text messages to say my account will be opened shortly. I signed and returned the form since the postage was already paid for.0
