Happy birthday, anniversary and job celebrations.
Started day putting breadmaker on as DB is staying again.
1st time back to gym having booked a swimming slot. Numbers greatly restricted so no worries. Had coffee with 2 friends, we were the only ones in the gym cafe.
Harvested kale, carrots, rhubarb and apples plus marjoram and basil to make dinner. Made a supreme effort to prepare in advance in case DB arrived in time for a cycle (he didn't).
Spray bleached bathroom.
Checked and cleaned spare bedroom.
Hoovered bathroom, spare bedroom, lounge/diner, kitchen, hall and conservatory. Also sofas.
Gave dining room table and chairs a good clean. Laid table.
Made biscuits while range was on for dinner.
Rang surgery to try and get Mr N's appointment changed.
Rang Arg0s to find out why tablet ordered on 24th for mum's birthday hadn't arrived. They didn't know! They cancelled order but couldn't order another by phone so I had to do it on line, now due Sunday.
Took worrying phone call from elderly friend G who rang because she was alone in the house , didn't know where her family were and didn't really know where she was. Asked me to ring her daughter but didn't know her surname or number. I found it from a mutual church friend, rang the daughter who said G was actually at home in her own house and they'd already had 3 phone calls. I got another call later making even less sense. All very sad, knew her memory had seemed poor of late but nothing like this.

So it was back to my favourite shipping storage unit place to ask for a full sized unit again. I only got rid of half sized one 5 weeks ago, so they did have a bit of a smirk that I was back so soon. But the whole house has to be emptied. Top to bottom as if I was moving out as nothing can be left on the floor to be shuffled around.
So beds and Everything have to go into storage. So I will be mainly shuffling backwards and forwards with some lift and carry help, with a quick divert via the beach road periodically to lift my soul. But I will have to save real flying til after the work is done.
It's days like this when I wish I never sold my ford galaxy. It's been off living a new life for over 2 year now. I thought a regular sized car would be a money saver, but I am going to burn through petrol at an astonishing rate so I may have to rent a van and get more volume out in one go.
Can't wait to get hot water back again with a million and one kettles!
Fingers crossed I can get it all done on time! The cold never bothered me anyway11 -
Morning. Not sure what I'll fit in around paid stuff today but I'll report back with progress. Off to walk dogs now.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.11 -
Morning all, sneaking back in this week rather late.
Limited flying yesterday as I went for coffee with friend who is moving in 2 weeks as she was fed up packing and wanted an excuse to stop, and so her dog gets to really love me so will come and stay happily the day of the move. A large but very nervous American bulldog so not something you can pick up and pop in the car) I did however keep on top of the kitchen and give the downstairs loo a really good scrub. Washing done so all up to date on that score too.
Bathroom list is perfect for me today, thank you!
Like ASB I need slinky but for the moment am concentrating on adding good bits rather than depriving myself of stuff. Drinking more water is what I must do so am going to try logging it on my Fitbit app.
Off to have a shower and clean it whilst I'm in there

Morning all (again!)
Managed to get back off to sleep, feel a bit groggy but nothing that a walk to school in the sunshine can't cure! Kids are dressed and watching TV, very very excited. I have a day of peace so I'm even more excited 🤣🤣
Beds have been made, I think that may be the extent of my flying today! X9 -
Last day before the small fry go back to school! Yippee! Not gonna lie, homeschooling sucks, my teaching sucks and my kids are now feral hellbeasts with dodgy haircuts and serious attitude. Good luck tomorrow Miss Jones...
Got zero actual flying done yesterday bar a little dot to dot tidying, as whatever I touched seemed to expand into a job needing major time and attention, and I had a lady turn up for a meet and greet who I had totally forgotten about (!), which took an hour out of my day.
So...dining room, then laundry room, then wetroom, after sorting out animals, children and chickens...
Oh, and I must brush my hair today...8 -
Morning bods.
Bed made.
Bread baking in the halogen.
Furry thing had her first cuddle of the day and now napping in the sun.
WM on.
Shopping, as it did not get done yesterday.
£71.93/ £180.008 -
So far today,
Bed made, clothes picked up
Shower cleaned
Laundry sorted
Finances updated
Telephone call with boss about restarting and emails sent. I was rather hoping this wouldn't happen, but never mind only 7 - 9 weeks to do and that's it finished, I've already explained that I won't take any contracts on next year.
Off back to get a bit more done in the bathroom.
