Last two WM loads on or waiting to be put in.
He's on kitchen duties again and I'm of the sofa indefinitely, as a six week gap between AF visits for the first time in about a million years of being like clockwork means I'm not moving anywhere quickly at present (presuming it's the start of perimenopausal symptoms), having spot cleaned the brand new quilt successfully with cold salt water.
Felines are scrapping over who gets ownership of a huge box of food that was delivered and is still sitting in front of the door. Got another equally large one coming Wednesday, which will be interesting, as I didn't realise we still had 3 weeks' of food stashed in the cupboard. I've ordered 4 months worth, as well. At least they're all Tetrapaks in boxes of six, so he can play Tetris with them on his day off.
It's a Gym Wear and Cat Slippers Day for me. With a little bit of putting clothes out for work at the end of it.
Going to have to be up and out the door at a ridiculous hour tomorrow, though. As part of the laying on of extra buses for schoolchildren, somebody decided that they should take all but one bus out of service prior to 7am to send them all up to the big estate for the kids there. So the service has gone from one every 6 minutes to one in 45. Yay.
Be nice to your school staff, please! If they don't have cars, they've probably been in work for around 2 hours by the time lessons start.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll9 -
because it's been sunny I have attempted to cut the grass - the middle of the 'lawn' however, is so wet it was clogging the lawnmower. Guess where the rabbit run has been put! I also strimmed the patio and down the side of the house...however, before I could get it swept we got rain. Rabbit hutch has been cleaned; anyway...
So, apart from the spare room and laundry nio flying has been done, really.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

small sofa that was in my office temporarily moved to the lounge, that will serve us until the new sofas are delivered end of the month ish, then it will be donated back to charity, where it came from in the first place lol
conservatory, dining room, hallway, all hoovered and dusted thoroughly
massive box dismantled and put in garage ready for next tip run
kitchen, utility room and downstairs loo cleaned and floors mopped
bins emptied
DH did the food shop, a big one this week as I want to get some batch cooking done to have some meals in the freezer
this afternoon has been read a book time, lovely to think there’s no work for me tomorrow, this will be my first full week off this year!
have a good one, see you on the new thread x8 -
Washing all done and dried and away.
DW been on all day so everything is sparkly.
Small appliances all cleaned and worksurfaces all wiped.. It is starting to look vaguely decent in there.
Tuesday we are popping to shoe shop for a last second new shoe check. We also have a tip run planned.. 2 mattresses and a mattress topper to go and so much stuff for charity shop I am hoping to get a bit dumped at least. I have 2 amazon returns ready to return tomorrow and a prescription to pick up. I need to book Moomin a nurse appointment.
So... DW (again).. TD (again)..

Lots of sewing done here today - I almost have a pair of curtains for the study bedroom
No church this morning, as I joined in an online service this afternoon which involved two of my college friends.
Rosie has had her walk, and we avoided the showers.
We have eaten well, as I harvested some of our potatoesinnasack this afternoon, and we're still eating our homegrown beans. Rosie was quite put out that there were no leftovers for her!
I'm very tired now (didn't get a lot of sleep last night) but I want to get three cushion covers cut out and ready to make up tomorrow morning, so I shall watch Dragons and George while I'm cutting out.
See you on the new thread xx
